valve spring compressor

Featured Replies

Anyone know where you can buy a valve spring compressor? The kind where the fingers fit on either side of the lobe and the lever arm pushes down on the retainer. MSA has what I'm looking for, but it's $185.00. Thanks Guy

Is this the kind you're looking for?

It's made by KD Tools. Part # KD 3087

Most places I found with a quick search seemed to be out of stock or no longer available.

This one site looks like they might still have them. (They had the lowest price also! )

Good luck.

Guy, I got mine from www.tooltopia.com for much less than anywhere else. Check them out.

Hmmm, I just looked and they are out of stock and the price shown is way higher than what I paid. :stupid:

That was one of the first places I checked.... "Out of Stock"

I have personally used this style on a Z head. It's not the nicest or quickest, but can get the job done.
