God Rest his "pain in the butt, bickering, picky, world Class car Building" Soul.

Great guy, met him once, who's gonna yell at those guys in the shop now?

Sad News indeed.

Dave.:surprised :ermm::(

RIP - while I wasn't a fan of his methods, he died way too young. Prayers to his family.

I need to check Jalopy Journal - he wasn't really well liked, but I know this is still a shock.

He seemed like a nice enough guy who was involved in a very tough business. I was no big fan of his methods but I loved watching his show regardless. He was a pioneer in the Hot Rod business and that I respect. I would imagine that there is a fight a foot coming between his son and Jo over the business. I can't imagine it is going to be a smooth transition. I know he is doing a huge burnout right in front of the Pearly Gates.

Sad indeed,

his cars came out Tight, never saw one I really didn't like.

Prayers to the family and friends. :disappoin

I too met him once, in the early '90s on a tour of his facility. While I'm not a hot rod type of guy, there's no doubt that he had imagination and vision, and a knack for making things happen. R.I.P., Boyd.

In case you didn't know, there was a statement from the family that said he died from complications resulting from long-term diabetes.

I didnt watch the show because i could not stand him. But prayers to his family for their loss...

I wonder what Gods car going to look like with him up in Heaven?

God Bless,

Rest in Peace.

My Prayers are with His Family!
