spursfan55, I think this is done. This thread was dead for about 6 months before your post.

These rims are a eye catcher, I have a set and I also glassbeaded them, I then had them powdercoated with a matte finish they really stand out. I will help look for you.
I sold her a set of wheels about 2 weeks ago....they were close to brand new never used rims...and tires

$5000, a drive from Indiana to Scranton and back, and then $500 or so to restore!!!

You did say you had to have them...:stupid:

I just found one of these AMERICAN RACING Vector rims in the 4 lug bolt

patern off a '79 280ZX, any idea what it's worth?

It's in really good shape with a few nicks but no lip bends or dents and is a

15x7 inch rim.

I'll post pics soon as I can find my DIGI CAMERA.

Anyways I don't need it and thought some one could use a nice spare or

maybe be able to complet a set.

Now where is my camera!

check your local junkyards. There are a couple 2X2's in our local yard with rims like that.

Found my DIGI CAM :)

Here are the pics!

Wing, those look like 14x6 to me, plus I don't think AR ever made 15" four lug in that style. In fact, in four lug all I recall was 14x6, not even 14x7. How did you measure them? If you measured from the outer lips in both width and diameter to get 15x7, then they really are 14x6. The correct place to measure from is the bead seat area.

I've got 2 of those exact Western Wheels if interested. I was trying to find two more to complete the set, but I decided to stick with the American Racing rims I have on my car.

I think the basic gist of this thread has been lost..........quite some time ago.
