What do you get when you multiply 6 by 9?

I would heartily recommend the two Dirk Gently books that Adams wrote later on. Neither reached the acclaim as the Hitchhikers Trilogy (all six of them), but they are still excellent.

Also, the book "Good Omens" by Neil Gaimen and Terry Pratchett...excellent stuff in the vein of Hitchhikers.

FWIW.

You're probably a bit too young to know that.

You're never too young to know of Douglas Adams!

the best books in literary history.

notice the signature...

oh and:

"What are you talking about? "

"Never mind, eat the fruit. "

"You know, this place almost looks like the Garden of Eden. "

"Eat the fruit. "

"Sounds quite like it too. "

David,

Terry Pratchet ? His books are Great Mate. You need to have a sense of humour though.

Rick.

OIl and water don't mix, but Monty Python and Douglas Adams-Monty Adams and Douglas Python? I would hate to see the ofspring of a dead parrot and Zaphodd Beeblebrox, so long and thanks for the fish!

A sense oF humor-what of it!

With you lot, what else is there!

Once you do know what the question actually is, you'll know what the answer means...

Recently - well 2 to 3 years ago the BBC released some more of the HHG2TG radio plays. Some more of what happened after the part that was in the TV series. All I can remember from it was the cricket match.

I grew up listening to the radio plays-on PBS here in the states-after them, the movie wasn't quite as good as it would have been...
