Ferrari is making Z parts!

Featured Replies

I don't know what that was actually made for.. but it's not for a Z. The dual tip Ansa for the Z is stacked one on top of the other.. that side by side style will not fit unless you cut metal away from your lower finisher panel.

FWIW

Carl B.

Case of the "Factory miss-mark" (Natashia smacks Boris) or "This sticker fits anything".

To be continued. Hey Rocky, Watch me pull a rabbit outa my hat.

All jokes aside, Will and Carl are right on. The mounting bracket for the Z correct unit comes up off the duel tips stacked vertically vs horizontally (as in this example).

Thanks again guys for your experienced observation.

LOL the exhaust is a manufacturer of exhaust parts for some Ferraris yes , but that exhaust tip set up is for a 260/280 z set up. I love how some ebays can't even read the stickers correctly on their stuff LOL, sad

You have to admit though, the sticker does say 240Z even though we all know it wont fit a 240Z without metal work.

This auction is for an Ansa Marmitte muffler made in Italy by Ferrari for the Datsun 240z, thats the part i am refering to I have, but not for the 240 atleast according to every piece of info I have from ansa

I'm not arguing with you Jeff, just saying that the ebayer thinks its for a 240Z because the sticker says so. He believes everything he reads! ROFL

Chris

oh I know , not arguing , yea i agree with ya 1000% with the ebay parts issues , I only buy Z parts if I can visually confirm what they are, and you right unfortunately some body will buy it thinking it is as advertised , found that out first hand , but its a buyer beware thing :)
