Classic car destruction.

Featured Replies

I would hate to see the insurance claim on that wreck. My heart sunk after seeing this. :( :tapemouth Wow....just speachless.

I wonder how cars like that are insured. I know most classic car carriers won't cover your vehicle if it's raced in any form. But you'd think those guys have some type of coverage. Very sad indeed.

Look behind the blue car. Is that another car? It's yellow.

yup panchovisa said it was a yellow 63 Stingray roadster

oops should read more carefully :stupid:

Its cool dont worry bout it. I'm always reasking questions cause i usally just skim threw replies never reading them fully.

Wonder how the driver of the yellow Stingray rates the under carriage of the Camaro? Hope he had some roll bars forward of the main hoop!

The reports I saw on other forums was that the grid of 50+ cars got too spread out on the pace lap so the starter did not wave the green. The front cars slowed down but cars from something like 4th -20th were still coming up the blind hill onto the front straight and cranking up to racing speed. Once they crested the hill and saw brake lights it was too late. 16 cars were involved, but no one was seriously injured. There were reportedly quite a few fist fights that erupted after the drivers got out of their cars. Go grab a box of tissues and look at the pictures here http://www.pbase.com/atrltd/bric2005

There is also a lot of commentary at the bottom of the page...

Idk what kind of car that is. Kind of looks like a z to me. That would suck if it was.
