1974 240z

Featured Replies

Saw a 74 240z the other day. I took a photo of the VIN plate so I'll post it when I can. Anyone else seen this?

It also had 240z interior door trims but pull handles on both doors... wierd.

Must be one of the last 240's ever..

SU copies.

The car was Kalahari Tan w/black interior and formerly a Tassie car..

I was actually wondering if it had round top/flat top carbs.

Now you have me absolutely be-wildered!

Post those pics, this is really interesting.

How could a person tell it was a 74 compared to a 73?

Hence the wierd nature of it. It was definately a 240. It had 240z on the build plate and all the correct 240 parts on it, but the VIN plate said /74. I think it was built in very late 73 but not complianced (or whatever) until 74.

I've never heard of this before and was interested to see if others had.

SOunds like a mystery to me. It will be interesting to see your picture of the VIN plate.

Would the very last ever 240Z be highly collectable? That'd be pretty cool! Wouldn't that be something... the oldest and newest available 240Z in your collection.
