Finally completely interior

Featured Replies

After driving for months with a big hole where the heater control panel goes I spent most of the afternoon trying to get a brand new panel installed. This ended up being more difficult than expected as the restored dash makes the vinyl a bit thicker and I didn't want to crack the $135 piece of plastic by trying to force it. In addition to the dash I've got new carpet and insulation.

Take a look here:

Wow, cool, looks great! Original colour too, but the dash reminds me of dead pig skin for some reason...

Beautiful! When My '72 is done, might have to make the maiden voyage to Atlanta!

I hope mine come out as well!

Looks realy cool.

Where did you get the panel?

I got it from Chloe at MidwestZ in June just before she disappeared.

Did you have someone finish it for u? Or did you do it urself?

That looks realy great.

Did Alfadog say "dead pig skin" ROFL I've got dead cow skin in mine. As I said before, it looks very nice. I think we're just not used to any color other than black for our dashes. The 77 has a gray dash and it took some getting used to. Very well done Mike!
