I just bought a 78 280z 2+2, and it has manual steering. I have two 280zx parts cars and was wondering if it would be possible to swap the power steering to the 280z? Did the 280z ever come with power steering at all? What parts would I have to swap if this is even possible?

I have a 110mm Nissan LSD and am looking to change my gear ratio. Is there any way to use a 115mm gear set or am I stuck with 110. Also anyone out there have either a 3.7, 3.9, or 4.11 gear set (110mm of course) or a complete diff they are willing to part with (you will be compensated)

I am in need of a mounting ring for the shift boot used on 72 to 78? Zcars. I believe it has 4 holes to attach the boot to the floor pan. I can't seem to find them in parts catalogs. My 5 speed shifter doesn't work right with the original 71 shift boot so I'm going to use the later type, but I also need the mounting ring. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a review mirror from a newer Monte Carlo I got free, and I'd like to put it in my Z, but the metal part (that gets glued to the glass) is still stuck in the mounting arm. Is there a way to get the thing out of the arm? there are two small square-ish slots in the foot of the arm, and it looks like you might need to stick a tool in there to get the mount to pop out. thx

Hello zheads....I am replacing a racing tranny I have had in my 240z for 30 years with a 1980 non turbo 5 speed. Purchased a zx clutch slave to match the tranny...also collar, etc... My question is the xz slave cylinder doesn't have adjustment. How do I adjust the pedal play??? Thanks much

Hey, I have been stripping my 82 ZXT to get all the goodies to install in my 72 240Z. I pulled the oil cooler out and just wanted to know where other turbo swappers are putting theirs? Or is it a benifit to even install it? Thank you in advance Rob

I put an '83 L28 and matching 5 spd into my early '71. I am getting a clunk where I didn't have it before, with the stock L24 and '78 5spd. The U-joints are all pretty new and I replaced the front diff mount. Although I don't remember reading about having to change out drive shafts, I started wondering if there was a difference in the length when they set the diff back on the later models. Anybody know about that? TIA, Marty
