Happy Thanksgiving to all ! I am going to purchase the replacement suspension bushings for my '77 280z, MSA has a kit along with Summit, is there any difference between the two kits ? I am not a very patient person and do not have a lot of money to throw away so i shop around. The last few things i ordered from MSA took way too long to get and there was no communication at all.

I have a friend in the performance industry that is interested in build coilovers for a few of the older car that lack a strong backing in the performance area, such as the 240z, Cressida, and 510 just to name a few. While I know that a few companies make a coilover using a kit and stut/shock the coilover I'm refering too would be the real deal from one company. I'm here gauging interest in this product, I don't have a price yet but interest will dictate a general price and availablity of them. The more the better so if your interested list your name, car, year of car, and what you do with the car. This will help give an idea on what cars will be covered and the type of s…

Just bought a Tokico kit. Springs lower the car 1 inch and has Lumina adjustable shocks. Any opinions or experience with this combo in an early (70) 240Z? Mike

I have the transverse link bushings to install. The old ones were burned out the link is ready. The new bushings are urethane and this web site says they have to be very well greased or they could be noisy. Sounds like good advice.... Should I just grease the heck out of the metal tube that goes through the bushing and the ends of the bushing so the bushing moves with the link or grease everything in site?

One of the rear axles has rotational play (you can hold the wheel mounting plate and still rotate the axle a few degrees). Is this normal? The other side has no play so I’m worried.

I took apart my 73 Z car 2 years ago and am trying to put it back together. The front transverse link has two bushings. one is bigger then the other. Is the link closer to the front of the car or the back as viewed in the cross member? or is there a picture some one can send?

I'm the proud one-owner of a 1977 280Z and I looking for a little input from other Z owners. One of the few things that always seemed strange to me is how "big" the steering (lock to lock) seemed to be on the 280Z. I've driven and owned lots of sportscars (currently have a Honda S2000 also) and they almost all seemed to have a quicker more precise steering feel to them. I've done a search of our website and read everything I could find on changing to the MSA/NISMO quick steering knuckles. Even after reading everything I'm not sure if changing them out would push the steering to far the other way (ie: make it to twitchy for normal street driving). Since 95% of my drivi…

I will be mostly driving the car on the street. my question is, has any body out there ran the bearing ends on the street and were their any issue's with noise or extra harshness. any help on this matter would be great

I need advice and contacts for adjustable front lower control arms. I've read several posts and looked at several web pages, but no recent input on which ones work and the issues when installing. Mostly my concern lies with the lack of rubber/ urethane at the inboard side and the strength of the ball joint. Techno toy, az z car, and another that I can't remember (billet) all look pretty much the same. Any input? neal g

I searched a bit an didn't come up with anything. I don't want to deal with machining a set and I'm looking for a supplier of Delrin bushings for the inner rear control arms. Any leads?
