  6. have you checked for Spark?, are the injectors working fine?
  7. mmm check the fuel presure, it must be around 36 psi.... it seems like you have a clogged screem, do you have the FSM? download it from www.carfiche.com
  8. That´s a question for the www.hybridz.org guys.... don´t get me wrong........do a little search here, and try to be more specific, tell us about your engine set up, pistons?, porting? head?, do you want to keep it N/A or swap a Turbo? Camilo
  9. As Davi said, get the FSM from http://carfiche.com/manuals023/cars/, that´s from an 82, but is pretty much the same......, i would check the conections to and from the AFM (air flow meter)... Camilo
  10. you could consider so lucky , here in my country there are no junkyards and even no ZXs, and mine has some rust on the rails and the body, i wish i could buy a nice shell, as you could do it in your country. Find a good one and swap the engine and turbo!!!
  11. And they are still wining, here in my country, there is a racing championship (San Diego Circuit) just for the oldies, and you can find 240Zs always in the first positions over the Porsches, FIATs, Alfa Romeo, MG, etc.... Camilo

Hi guys, i´m thinking of modifying my engine a little bit, and add some more horses, and maybe reach 210-230 HP, i don´t know if I expect too much because I just want to do some minor work on the head(N42) like a minor porting and mill , also want to use flat pistons and improve the air filter and install a 2.5 in. header, the problem is that I don`t have any idea how much compresion should have this engine (L28-N42) and could reach with these modifications, I don´t want to exceed a CR of 9.5:1-10:1, due to the emissions laws here are very strict and I want my car street legal. I would like to hear some recomendations !!! Also want to ask you guys, what includes a “cam kit”?, as you can see English is not my native language and sometimes there are some words or technical terms that I don’t fully understand. Thank you guys in advance
  14. Keep us updated, i did very much the same, the interior of mine is burgundy and i refreshed some of the plastic parts applying a plastic primer and then a few coats of burgundy red....

  17. i Suggest you to check this link http://carfiche.com/manuals022/cars/ there is the FSM for the 82, right is not available but could be at any moment, that one could help you. When i bought mine the original radio was disconnected and the windows did work fine, i think you should go in other way to find the problem

  23. Hi guys!, i´m thinking of replacing the injectors of my ZX since three of them are leaking and I suppose the rest of them are gonna leak soon. My Nissan dealer has no injectors in stock so I´m thinking in rebuild‘em or purchase’em from ebay, which is cheaper than rebuild, the cost of the 6 injectors may reach about 120 US$ with handling and shipping, and I think is time to do it due to the Colombian Peso is becoming stronger ( but not my wallet). I wonder if you guys have had some experiences with the rebuilt injectors from ebay , should I take the risk and buy them? thanks guys
