  1. Alan wrote the weights of a few 240z models in this post: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3521&highlight=weight
  2. you could make a 3.1L stroker engine, off the top of my head I think it's a L28 block + pistons, LD28 crank, L24 rods, 2mm head gasket. Take a look at http://www.zhome.com/ under "Modifications For More HP" for write ups on these engines This guy had 235RWHP from his one: http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=4105

  5. your not wrong there, I remember the beginning of the first one, three riced Hondas practically valve bouncing trying to keep up with a truck that was cruising, now that's funny. And they wrecked the best car in the movie - the charger texasz: There not that expensive, it's just where to find them in the US. Based on the prices here you are looking at $3500USD for the RB26DETT, $1400USD for the RB25DET and $800 for the RB20DET The people who have finished it say the rest of the mods to complete take about $1500 - $2000USD more but I don't know about that, mine doesn't look like it's going to cost that much, maybe $1000USD more to finish but I might have forgotten about something. Maybe Cyong might comment on that
  6. 24. Hello Ivan Speaking.
  7. I had a '90 300zx and they are fun, should have a LSD standard and they just stick to the road, pretty low and hard standard as well and look very cool. Are they that expensive over there? The 200zr would be good but it's the old shape, also being a Jap only model it might be hard to get parts. What about a 4L v8 Soarer, they should be about the same price as those others but will probably be auto though.
  8. You can cut the fender and weld a plate between the gaps, this is what the 250 GTO kits do.
  9. is there less stress on the shafts at higher speeds as opposed to taking off? also if the shafts / diff / u joints were in line wouldn't it hold up a lot more? also also wouldn't there be less stress if you were running an lsd?
