  1. It took an enthusiast from half way round the world to let me know that his was less than 60 miles from me. This is HLS30-00869.
  2. I cannot find the original torsion spring for the fuse door on the console. Does anyone have one or know of a specific torsion spring that can be substituted? Thanks for your help with this. JLP
  3. I am in the process of restoration of a set of Logan Blackburn's American Racing LeMans magnesium wheels. This is a set from his championship winning Z. I purposefully left his "trademark" yellow over spray on the inside of the wheels.
  4. The only experience I have had with Ferrari is driving my brother-in-laws Dino in 1973 or 74. Beautiful sound!
  5. I am a purist, when I saw this on BAT I couldn't help but think what this would be like in a Z! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1988-ferrari-328-engine-9/?fbclid=IwAR0gOl4XkppvFz0D-TVKCxN8DYh67iZDCBVHHFUnD1Dfc-RWjEYdF-km4tE
  6. Yes, Just on the other side of the TAXA Tiger Moth trailer in my garage.
  7. I am still chasing my hard pedal / brake locking up issue. I have taken the brake system apart so many times I am now need to replace a couple of lines. I plan to just go ahead and replace all of the lines. What is the best pre-bent line kit out there? I believe I will go with steel and find someone to zinc plate them for me unless someone is selling a plated set. Thanks in advance for your input on this. Jerry Purcell

Does any of our club members live near Ellensburg, WA? I would like to see if someone can inspect a possible purchase for me. Thanks Jerry
  11. I purchased a set last year, those along with color tune kit made for a super carburetor tune last winter. The car runs the best it has since being restored.
  12. Does anyone have the name and contact information for the restorer of the Franklin Mint 240Z? Thanks JLP
  13. Thanks Kats, Mike is looking for the bracket. I am sure that he will pick up on this post. Thanks for the information I guess I just thought it made sense that the removal cap would be at the top for access. After a little research I found that I sourced the two parts (pump/bracket) separately.
  14. Mike, I can take the pump off and photo the bracket and give you details if you like.
  15. HS30-H gave me the following information when he saw this post. "17033-E4200 is the stock 432/432-R pump mount bracket. Nice find! I have one on my 432-R replica. Does it have the original type Jidosha Kiki KK pump too?" And yes the pump is a kidosha Kiki pump. JLP
  16. I was looking hard due to stall problems on my car. Found this, I believe out of Japan, this last year, but over the winter found and fixed my stall problem.
  17. Ready for spring!
  18. NO, my email is jerrypurcell@frontier.com
  19. The number could vary for each door and each hinge. I don't know if measuring your difference in the gap front and rear and halving the difference would work, but seems to make sense.
  20. I don't have a problem helping out a brother across the pond!
  21. The shims are finally back from plating if anyone is needing some.
  22. Got side tracked on the sorting. Had the cabinet for the Series 1 seek radio plated stopped and put it back together and boxed it up. Now back to sorting.
  23. On the FJ40 restoration I relied on photos of each area and each item. On the Z cars I recognize each part from the 40+ years of owning, racing, parting out etc... When I take a particular component apart, if it is not going back together soon, is photographed for reference if needed.
  24. ? Mike, Mike, Mike, guess what day it is! It's Sort Day! Sorting all of my newly plated nuts, bolts, brackets, parts, etc.....
