That looks fun! Wish there were enough Z people around here to actullay gather. There's a group of 300ZX and 350Z people, but even so its not too many.

I would for a 1970 SS Chevelle 454, 07 Corvette Z06, Bugatti Veyron, or a really nice Ferrari or Lamborghini. Yah, I'm probably not as attached as some of you, but my Z isn't in all that great of shape.
  3. A few years ago my car was moved into the driveway over night so my sister's car could have the garage (she had to leave early in the morning for the airport) and that night nearly a half inch of ice fell. The car didn't move for 3 days after that. Needless to say, i was NOT happy.
  4. Sure, i figure any upgrade is good. What kind were you looking at getting?

Honestly, it looks to have fewer dents and whatnot than my car does. Its kinda sad really.

dang. Last time i did that bad was when i got 97 miles on a full tank. I had just gotten the car and didnt know anything about them, then I discovered the P/O had bypassed the fuel filter. Put in a filter and the problem was solved. could be an issue with your fuel pressure regulator? AFM? Cold start valve? maybe even a leak somewhere.

I know how that feels. I got my car in July of 04, but couldn't drive it until that October because I couldn't affored to get it tagged and the insurace. That just about killed me. By now i've become used to it having to sit without being driven. Even when its dry I don't drive it in the winter cuz the heater is broken.

I'm in the exact same position as you. Exhaust, intake but my my car is a 5 speed. I've decided to go with the turbo swap, so i'm not planning on doing anything until then. Right now, you could go for higher gear ratio in the rear end and perhaps and maybe a header if you plan on keeping your engine for a while before you do the turbo swap.

These are from a book called Disorder in the American Courts, and are things people actually said in court, word for word, taken down and now published by court reporters who had the torment of staying calm while these exchanges were actually taking place. It's worth reading to the end! Those of you who have worked with attorneys will find this very easy to understand. Others will find it easier. ATTORNEY: Are you sexually active? WITNESS: No, I just lie there. _______________________________ ATTORNEY: What is your date of birth? WITNESS: July 18th. ATTORNEY: What year? WITNESS: Every year. _____________________________________ ATTORNEY: What gear were you in at the moment of the impact? WITNESS: Gucci sweats and Reeboks. ______________________________________ ATTORNEY: This myasthenia gravis, does it affect your memory at all? WITNESS: Yes. ATTORNEY: And in what ways does it affect your memory? WITNESS: I forget. ATTORNEY: You forget? Can you give us an example of something you forgot? _______________________________ _ _____ ATTORNEY: How old is your son, the one living with you? WITNESS: Thirty-eight or thirty-five, I can't remember which. ATTORNEY: How long has he lived with you? WITNESS: Forty-five years. _____________________________________ ATTORNEY: What was the first thing your husband said to you that morning? WITNESS: He said, 'Where am I, Cathy?' ATTORNEY: And why did that upset you? WITNESS: My name is Susan. ______________________________________ ATTORNEY: Do you know if your daughter has ever been involved in voodoo? WITNESS: We both do. ATTORNEY: Voodoo? WITNESS: We do. ATTORNEY: You do? WITNESS: Yes, voodoo. ___________________________________ _ __ ATTORNEY: Now doctor, isn't it true that when a person dies in his sleep, he doesn't know about it until the next morning? WITNESS: Did you actually pass the bar exam? ____________________________________ ATTORNEY: The youngest son, the twenty-one-year-old, how old is he? WITNESS: Uh, he's twenty-one. ________________________________________ ATTORNEY: Were you present when your picture was taken? WITNESS: Would you repeat the question? ______________________________________ ATTORNEY: So the date of conception (of the baby) was August 8th? WITNESS: Yes. ATTORNEY: And what were you doing at that time? WITNESS: Uh.... ______________________________________ ATTORNEY: She had three children, right? WITNESS: Yes. ATTORNEY: How many were boys? WITNESS: None. ATTORNEY: Were there any girls? ______________________________________ ATTORNEY: How was your first marriage terminated? WITNESS: By death. ATTORNEY: And by whose death was it terminated? ______________________________________ ATTORNEY: Can you describe the individual? WITNESS: He was about medium height and had a beard. ATTORNEY: Was this a male or a female? ______________________________________ ATTORNEY: Is your appearance here this morning pursuant to a deposition notice which I sent to your attorney? WITNESS: No, this is how I dress when I go to work. ______________________________________ ATTORNEY: Doctor, how many of your autopsies have you performed on dead people? WITNESS: All my autopsies are performed on dead people. ______________________________________ ATTORNEY: ALL your responses MUST be oral, OK? What school did you go to? WITNESS: Oral. ______________________________________ ATTORNEY: Do you recall the time that you examined the body? WITNESS: The autopsy started around 8:30 p.m. ATTORNEY: And Mr. Denton was dead at the time? WITNESS: No, he was sitting on the table wondering why I was doing an autopsy on him! ____________________________________________ ATTORNEY: Are you qualified to give a urine sample? WITNESS: Huh? ____________________________________________ And the best for last ATTORNEY: Doctor, before you performed the autopsy, did you check for a pulse? WITNESS: No. ATTORNEY: Did you check for blood pressure? WITNESS: No. ATTORNEY: Did you check for breathing? WITNESS: No. ATTORNEY: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy? WITNESS: No. ATTORNEY: How can you be so sure, Doctor? WITNESS: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar. ATTORNEY: But could the patient have still been alive, nevertheless? WITNESS: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law.
  15. Mine has been tucked away this winter too. Mostly because the heater doesn't work though However, keeping the nasty crap from the roads off of it is a major plus too.

    17. I got my 77 just under 3 years ago. Yah, im still just a kid
  19. A full rebuild. i'd rather not. I really haven't gotten any further inside an engine that changing the headgasket. I would probably open it and change out all the gaskets just because, but i would rather start up the engine before I buy it just to be sure it will work at all.
  20. Roughly 3 years I believe. I am told it did run when the car was parked.
  21. Hello everyone. I have plans on buying a turbo engine for my 280Z, but before I do I would like to start it up in the donor car and see if there is anything noticeably wrong with it. I have made a list of supplies I think i would bring with me to do this. I figure there are many of you who have done this kinda thing before so if there is anything you think I should take with me, I would love to hear any suggestions you would have. Thanks 1. 2 gallons of gasoline 2. 6 or so quarts of cheap oil 3. Car Battery 4. Sea Foam 5. Set of sparkplugs 6. Carburetor Cleaner 7. Work rags 8. Water for the radiator

Donuts are great fun..... until your heater valve explodes and floods the car with antifreeze.

Wow. If there were any way on earth I could afford to do that and actually have a place to keep them I would have more than 1 as well. You're lucky!
  24. Ls7

Don't tear me to pieces if i'm not right here, but as far as I know, the LS7 is the same as an LS1 or LS2 but the block is different and it has better heads. Basically, if you can bolt in an LS2 that means you can put in an LS7. Why on earth you would put it into a ZX 2+2 is beyond me. This guy was able to get an LS2 into is 280Z very nicely, so im sure putting in a LS7 can't be all that much more difficult.

The differential in your car should be an R200 with 3.54 gears.
