  3. Yes. talked to a buddy of mine rebuilding a 260z convertible. Had one of the strut mount break and had to get one from Z car Source. They charged him $100.00. what a rip off.
  4. There are a lot of private stashes here but there are no cars in the junk yards. I and a few others buy cars to part out but they are gettting hard to find.

  7. Mix 50% acetone and 50% auto tranny fluid, in a spray bottle, and then spray on the bolts. Bang them a couple of times with something and spray them again. Let it sit overnight and then try to take em out.

  10. The only way I know is to have the tank split, repair the tube and Have it welded back up.

  18. I continue to have problems logging on. I tried to reset my password but it didn't work.
  19. Came across these when parting out a 1973 240z. They are bilstein cartridges for the rear. Part # on the cartridge are: 062-0700 and 062-0701. Wondering what they're worth?

    A radiator repair shop is the preferred vendor for this. Cost should be between 130 to 200. Be careful about draining the old gas, be sure to put into proper containers. It would be a good idea to have a fire extinguisher handy.
  21. Do a search for heat soak. Popping the head when you shut it off will help. There has been extensive talk on this at zcar.com, if you go there do a search for heat soak and the author Tony D.
  22. I just stripped a 73 to part out and the exhaust hangers were the worst.
  23. Would you have a pair of A frame interior covers??
