bought a broke down 260z in serious need of repair for $300. I quickly sold that to a friend of mine at cost. He is in the process of tearing it down for restoration. I got lucky kind of and found a 72 240z like 3 weeks after i got the 260z. My wife actually let me go take out a loan to get that one. I spent 2100 for it (texas car, rust proofed by previous owner). The 240z is not running right now because I'm waiting for my z therapy carbs to come in. Once i get it running I'll post some pics.

i prefer the arizona z car brake kit, i think its about the same price but i don't know if you need new hubs for that.

I had a set on my 240sx for over 2 years and it still has a lot of tread on it. Good buy.

I had a similar problem and I realized that somehow the wire that was hooked up to the starter got disconnected. It might be that the wire is bad also.

Well while i was replacing the terminal cables i noticed that one of the ground cables was not attached to the starter. Now it works. Thanks for the help.

Yeah, i took it to autozone and they told me it was fine, but ill try a new battery that i have on my other car just to make sure.

I have a 72 240Z and i just recently installed a new ingnition switch. After that i was turning on the car on and off while we where trying to get the car to idle right. It no longer turns on and all i hear is the relay by the passengers side door. Could it be that the relay burnt out and i need a new one or is it a problem with my starter?

I was wondering if someone has a link or could tell me how to switch out the ignition switch for a 240z. My old switch broke and I have a new one on the way and i don't know how to remove the old one. Thanks
