  1. So, I've got a question about wheel hubs. I was putting the new rotors on my freshly cleaned up hubs. Once they were all together I noticed that the two hubs were not the same. I've owned this car since 1995. The previous owner was the first owner (bought it brand new in '76). I have never replaced the wheel hubs. I don't think he did either. However, the hubs are different, see attached pictures. The question: Do these differences actually matter?
  2. Thanks so much for that! I never know where to do those sorts of things!

This is a wiring diagram created in Adobe Illustrated and saved as a PNG file. It is a large graphic file. This does not include California specific or Automatic Transmission specific components. This is for Federal, Manual Transmission, and Factory Air Conditioned 280Zs.

  3. In case anyone's interested, I made this using Adobe Illustrator and converted it to a PNG. It's a big file, but feel free to use it as you like.
  4. I like how you used the EGR port for the Brake Booster.
  5. Good info about Jauce. Price is always what it is...I've got something in the interim and I can make a good custom mount that'll go where the original did.
  6. It's that one sure enough. Says the auction is blocked because it may not be shipped internationally. And I really don't want to spend that much...
  7. I hate to ask as I have no hoarded parts, but...has anyone hoarded an original driver side mirror from a '76?
  8. Av8ferg did you ever get a replacement for your mirror? I've been looking for an original mirror for my 76 like the one on the red Z in your first picture.
  9. Well, necro'ing isn't a bad thing, right? My rear seat doglegs went to hell a long time ago (20 something years?) and I've never been able to find a replacement part at a price I'm willing to spend. I did recently pick up one of the doglegs from a later model (mine's a 76 and the other was a 77 or 78) that should match up fairly well, I hope. My thought was to learn how to do fiberglass and do a mold and try to figure out how to do an inverse for the other side. Money's been tight as have time and space so I haven't gotten around to it yet, but it's on the plan for this year. If there's another option, I sure would be glad to hear about it, though!
