  1. Because of the roundness of the tail section, it almost looks bent and the back. The black glass section probably doesn't help with that, but it's OK.. I wouldn't turn it down, unless it's still got the 4cyl from the 180 in it. It's essentially a sil80 or in this case zed80, zee80.. I hope it's got a good RB series straight 6 under that hood. Also, Gav, I'm guessing it's just Arctic Blue headlight bulbs and the blueness coming through is just refracting through the lens. It could look better with a few slight alterations
  2. The technique that I have used now by habit on all my cars including my 240K is I pull the choke, pump the gas three times and turn it over, I might stretch the gas pedal to 5-7 pumps if it seems especially cold, but it's usually 3. Which means it sometimes goes Click, Wirr, VROOM! or Click, Wirr, Wirr VROOM!
  3. Ahh, I see.. Thanks for the picture, that's probably the closest to them that I've seen, the 160J SSS has similar mirrors that aren't quite the same as well. It shouldn't matter too much anyway, although it'd still be ncie to know, at least the shape of the mirrors should suit the car in any case which is all that really matters.
  4. Ahh, excellent Mr. C, I'll investigate that. Just to make sure, you are meaning the black ones and not the chrome, right? Check my gallery, there's a picture of my brother's old 280ZX, which also had electric fender mirrors., so, I guess I joined you rather than having to beat you :classic:
  5. Thanks Alfadog, I have a bundle of comparison pictures and had already come to the conclusion they weren't actual C110 mirrors, the stalks aren't quite as long, but they're fairly close for the time being the main purpose of my asking was to determine whether there were part numbers on Nissan Fender Mirrors. I also have some pictures of the actual chrome ones for the C110, just the mirrors not actually on a car and mine aren't the same as those either, as those look the same as the GTR ones except chrome and not black. I've got about 300 different C110 images not counting, your car, my car or jmt240kgtrs' car. However, I don't have the one you posted. Depending how much you have, would you be willing to zip and email? Or if you know a good place to find some I'd love to know it. Incase you're interested, the part number for the GT C110 fender mirrors is 96301 R4600 R/H 96302 R4600 L/H And they were an optional item, I wished more people optioned to have them.
  6. To be honest, I was hoping you'd say that I finally managed to get the fender mirrors for my Skyline that I was supposed to get when buying the car, the PO sent them to me. Being the Z was my only basis for comparison I had to ask here. Now I know for sure the part numbers are not the same and that I may have actual Nissan mirrors. So I'm happy. I've attached a picture incase you're interested. I have to fabricate some new mounting bolts as the old ones were rusted up and promptly broke whilst trying to remove the nut. If they look familiar to you, please by all means let me know. And thanks again for your help.
  7. Excellent, thank-you muchly 2ManyZs. You don't happen to know whereabouts on the mirror it is moulded or stamped do you?
  8. I was just wondering whether anyone could tell me whether the Fender Mirrors have a Part No on them anywhere and if so, where and what the part number is. Thanks in advance. :classic:

  10. There's a Black or Dark Blue 280ZX in 'Dude, Where's my Car?" parked on the curbside as they walk across the street. There's also a Gold/Bronze 240 or 260Z in 'Lethal Weapon' driving past in the background view out of the cop car window, (near the start of the film) first you see a MkII Supra then that goes out of view and the Z pops up.

The term for the measurement diagonally between studs (on 4 stud, on 5 stud it's from 1 stud to the centre point between the two diagonally opposite studs) is the PCD or Pitch Circle Diamater. Thus 114 or more accurately 114.3 is the mm distance between the centre point of the diagonally opposite studs. Like so; where 'x' would be 114.3
  13. That sounds very similar to my problem which as it happens guys, seems to still be there somewhat and I still think it's electrical. The first thing I thought was, condensor, changed that.. nothing. Removed, cleaned, re-attached all earth and other wires in the engine bay, still no help. Then it seemed to not do it after I moved the small plastic piece that holds the condensor and points wires bolt, so i figured a way around that, it stopped for a while, then came back. New set of plugs, still not fixed. I replaced the rotor arm, nothing, replaced the cap, and again it seemed to be fixed for a while, but now it's just nowhere near as bad as it was but still has weirdness going on. I replaced the Fuel filter, nothing, did an oil filter and oil change, for no reason to do with the problem it just had to be done . I'm still slowly elimating different things, although now the tach seems to be reading different than before. which is just bizarre so i might have to do some serious dismantling and check all the instrument wires. Oh yeah, I've also tried Voltage regulators. Might have to try a new Alternator just to rule it out, even though it shouldn't really matter. If you get it fixed before I do, let me know, if I do before you, I'll let you know.
  14. Gav, the content of the 'Used Car' Dealerships changes every 10th day, and some things don't reappear for over 50 days, the days as I'm sure you probably know, translate basically into licence attempts or race attempts, even if you go into a race screen then exit before actually starting the race, that counts as a day. The KPGC10 is there right at the very start but it's only there 10days and being you start with 10000 and it costs 30-50, there's not enough time to get it in the first stint, so you save your pennies and bide your time I'm not sure when exactly it comes back though. You'll also find a few fairly rare, decent Skylines and others come up on other Manufactuer's, for instance the 1983 MkII 2.8 Supra comes up in Toyota, but it's named the Celica '83, the top of the line DR30 RS-X and R31 GTS-R also come up. I've slapped GT2 on the PS2 so I can use the old cars, gotta love it. Before I went back to GT2 I was going through a huge Drift phase of GT3, I'll try and get some pictures maybe of myself and my brother racing, he uses a 300ZX and I use the Silvia K's, kicks my arse on the straight but it fun as hell to go round a corner sideways.
  15. Yeah, rally mode has been around since GT2. It was disappointing in GT3 to have no older cars at all, however, with GT4 they are sorting that out. Here's a list of cars that were in the preview game used at E3; Alpine Renault 1600S Nissan Fair Lady 240ZG Subaru Impreza Rally Car Subaru Impreza WRX Sti Mitsubishi Evo VII Rally Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VIII Chevrolet SSR Lotus Europa Special Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 350 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 302 Isuzu Giulla Spirit 117 Coupe GTA Toyota Corolla Levin 1600 GT Apex Plymouth 'Cuda 440-6 Pontiac GXP Toyota Supra 2.5 Twin Turbo Honda Prelude Type S Suzuki Cappuccino Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 Pontiac GTO Chrysler Prowler Pontiac Vibe GT Chevrolet SS12 Nissan Z Unlimited Edition Honda RSX-R Unlimited It will have over 500 cars, apparently and my hope is that they have the full Skyline range, inclusive of the Prince Skyline Sport BLRA-3 but I'm guessing if they do have a range of Skylines it will only be from the GTR from the GC10 upwards and a few of the turbo or 4WD GTS's. I waited until GT3 came out before I bought the PS2.

  20. OFFERS Tried to photograph the part number and nissan emblem on the inside of the badge but the camera wouldnt focus on it due to it being amongst other different levelled items. Part No: 62896 AA400 Selling to fund the purchase of a KPGC110 GTR Grill Badge.
  21. No, I don't think so, What made you think that? What it comes down to is you're putting a different series block in, there's always going to be some things that have to be changed and with the different versions of the block there will be more or less things to do, those things don't necessarily make it any harder, maybe more expensive. But if one's going ot be more expensive no doubt it would be the RB26, maybe if you're really interested you could send some emails to Cuong Nyugen, (apologies if that's spelt wrong, it was just off the top of my head). However, your best bet would be the hybridz website as previously mentioned, I'm sur ethey have more detailed info relating to such things. Good luck.
