Hi MickieB, Check out HybridZ.org. In their 6 Cylinder Tech Board, there is a Sticky on how to swap an RB motor into a Z. The author gives his take on how each motor performs (RB20DET, RB25DET, RB26DETT). Also, I believe they use an RB20 oil pan and a R33 GTS-T 5 speed tranny when doing an RB26DETT swap. Check it out for more info.
  2. I would be interested as well!

  4. Hi Dave. I'm interested in the rear hatch panel (the interior piece with the vent) if you have one in good condition. Thanks, Eric

  6. Zrush, do you by chance have any pictures of how the pieces look after being chromed. Also, how expensive was it to get them done? Thanks.

Contact Chloe (parts@midwestz.com ) at MidwestZ. Ask, she can most likely get a lot of those parts. I've had nothing but positive transactions with her! Good luck on your project. -Eric

I believe the kanji (chinese characters on the top) represent the city/location (not sure though). I remember seeing that post awhile back. Also, if you do a search for Japanese License Plates on google, you can find other sources - and many are cheaper!
  11. Hey go z racer, go, there's a 2400 valve cover on ebay and its ending in 10 hours. I think its at $40 right now. -Eric

Hi. I just wanted to say thank you Alan for the information on the fender mirror position. I too will be installing these mirrors onto my z. I actually took your picture, and I repositioned the numbers so that it will be easier for us LHD guys to look at, and it lessens the chance of us forgetting that its RHD measurements. I have attached it below. Thanks again for all the great info, and I look forward to looking at more of your informative posts. -Eric

Hi everyone. I was just wondering if the 82'-83' 2+2 280zxt (MT) came with the BW T-5 or was it just the coupe version? Thanks, Eric
