  1. I hardly ever use my emergency brake, so mine are conveniently manual adjusting-Parking spaces here are nice and flat... Will
  2. Now, I don't know one sepo(and I am over here with most of them)that wouldn't have known exactly what that technician ment! I think that one's purely urban legend Aussie style-or the Supplier was secretly poking fun at the figjam that said it!ROFLROFL Will
  3. Rick I bet you went to the common ground to break the language barrier.... BEER and GIRLS! As and lifelong expert on both, I'm sure those poor Marines got quite an education from you-and the lot of you got seriously in the wizz and sprung after blowin in the bag! I bet those guys are still stonkered! How long did you leave them out in beyond the black stump waiting for a Bunyip? We Southern Sepos have a similar hunt we take tourists on, the hunt for the Grits tree. Funny as hell if you are the dunny rat dropping off! it is kind of aggrivating, but, Nothing a coldie can't cure. Thanks for looking after our Marines! WIll
  4. I wasn't going to mention that as it obviously matches the one in the owners head where the rain comes in! $3500ROFLROFLROFL! Will
  5. Outlaw or other octane booster! Will
  6. $3500 for a picked over inop? more like $500.-$1000(because of, and assuming it is perfect, the dash). Count on it needing floors, taillights, harnesses, lots of trim, radiator, straightening (body and chassis-look through the grill opening at the lower core support). It is rolling crate for the toyota engine-if the dash doesn't pan out! Will
  7. ...and it's not like the ducts are in the same air space you are trying to cool! Will
  8. John, That Aluminum faced closed cell insulation I used inside the trailer might work well, cut into strips and wrapped around the tubes... Will
  9. Lets not turn this thread into an extension of odometer readings from a 1980 280zx10 Black Red 8,732 Miles 1-owner. We have had one thread worth of that, and if that is the only Z content you have to add, please put your updates on your ad in the classified section of the website. We all hope you sell your car, but the free tool you were given, the classified section, is now where all car sales ads and that sort of updates go. Thanks, Will
  10. Mike, That is exactly what I was thinking. If it turns out to be right (Jims suggestions to really spec out the performance would be the first thing to do) I figured moving the prettys to a stock block would be the best answer. Drop the engine with the front crossmember and raise the body to keep off that beautiful paint. Will
  11. Vicky, As I understand it,The high Compression ratio is what makes it need the 'spensive stuf. Rolling back the timing will detune the car, lowering the need for the highest octane, but probably not the point of successfully using pump gas-it will also absolutley kill your MPG I don't know how to lower the compression ratio without opening up the engine and swapping parts-meaning I don't think the car in its present and absolutley beautiful configuration could be made to run on pump gas. Will
  12. Amazing how my responses folow yours! re-read your your post and apply it from me-I more than inderstand, I resemble! Will

Welcome Lorea, Don't let those guys up there get you talked in "finding" a hotwheel car painted just like yours-they are habitual hotwheels offenders! Other than that, they seem to be a good lot... Will
  16. For those who missed it-you really did! Carl shared things about Zs I never knew(and showed some parts I couldn't believe I was seeing!), Chris dispelled lots of rumor, inuendo, fears, and mystery from the Judging process with his presentation on judging.
  17. I would use weatherstrip adhesive on all of the seals, and add sealant as specified on the front and rear windows. Gary, it seems to me I saw a couple of healthy daubes of silicone on a picture of a hood you sent meROFL!

Thanks Ron! Will Ps I am still exploring a solution for the microfische
