Check the 2+2 280zx cars. In the states the 2+2 came with cv axles starting in 82 I think. Wish I could be of more help, but I don't know the differences in different countries.

Not an expert on the lsd, but if youy shimmed it out too much it would cause more than normal wear and tear on the diffy. I think the factory break-away torque is set to 42 ft lbs. As far as the 260 axel shafts, do you have the r-180 or r-200 rearend?

I did the cv conversion at the same time I replaced all bushings, struts, springs and bearings. I had my parts powder coated. Going to the track for the z club track day made the time and money i put into it pay off, with a lot of fun.
