Im new here
Nice cars. Have a look at some of mine. http://www.freewebs.com/rczbeat/editedcars.htm That isnt all of my pics. I can send you some of the others if you want. Where is the comps you send in for? Because I recon I could have a chance. I see you only kind of do what I used to do, just clone the bodykits. I have evolved (:stupid: ) to add new bodykits. My best one is probly the dark grey civic. It has Z headlights, Supra/custom front spoiler, veilside wing, 240zg arches, custom wide body and deepdish rims. It took me about 2hrs I think in total. Great plan on the Z. Cheer'z' Chris

Is this unsafe to drive?
What are you going to rivit it on to? Rust? I dont think that It'll do much. If your serious about the resteration, get it trailered home or to the workshop. If you want it to muck around in, by all means drive it to your mates place, just make sure you have a coushin under your arse for when the floor gives way and you fall onto the bitumen! Bob Sharp 280zg #33
Yeh I think its a great shot too! Just look at those arches! I might be painting a 240zg R/C car body like this if I can get stickers from somewhere, I might have to get them custom made. But that costs $$$.

Confusion reigns
zeiss150, Australian manual gearboxes got the 5 speed. Only America got the 4 speed. I guess the 5 speed would still have colour coding similar. I donno. Cheer'z' Chris

My Good Find Pic 3
I wish I lived in the USA. So I could go out and buy a 240z anyday for less than $1000:sleepy: Where I am they are as rare as hens teeth and over $5000!:sleepy: Even 260z 2+2's! Now that makes ME a sad panda!:stupid: Great deal! Looks pretty good too! Cheer'z' Chris

Exhaust questions...
3" exhaust on a standard L28ET? Doesn't sound right. Plus wouldnt that be turning into a ricer:stupid: ?Yeh, kinda impossible to have an exhaust header that'll fit a L24 and a L28ET. If the engine swap is a definate thing, just buy a header and the rest from a wrecker/swap meet etc. The cheapest possible way. Even put in a wanted ad in the forum! Cheer'z' Chris
