  1. Stainless steel one piece front and rear bumpers! Ooooooo!
  2. Spook air dam and rear spoiler.
  3. Custom 6-2-1 wrapped header and 2.5” exhaust with v bands and resonator!
  4. Custom aluminum driveshaft with replaceable u joints.
  5. Speedhut GPS gauge cluster and air/fuel gauge for centre stack. No pic of A/F gauge. Oops.
  6. Lightened stock flywheel. Approximately 16 lbs now. Came with nearly new 240mm clutch.
  7. 123 Ignition with Bluetooth!
  8. VTO 16x8 +3 offset classic 8’s. Beautiful wheels with almost new rubber! Plus a spare wheel!
  9. Let’s look at all the goodies I pried out of Jim’s hands... First the 3.1 stroker with numerous upgrades and mods. Including the 120 amp alternator and billet pulley. Note the porting done to the E88 head!
  10. You guessed it. I made it up to him with a few beer and a nice steak dinner.
  11. Well, we figure it was the lack of use that caused the pitting. I will be getting a full set of delta regrinds from him once they return. No rush.
  12. Jim says goodbye to his Stroker...
  13. I am a little old fashioned I guess. I still prefer a “western union” with a solder bond and heat shrink tubing. This style does provide a slim finish though. Looks like the wire tore before the solder joint so that’s good.
  14. I ordered some sunshine for tomorrow as Jim drives up for a visit! +13 C for tomorrow! Sadly that is extremely warm compared to the last month.
  15. I hear you Richard. The Z Car club cancelled the fall rally/drive this year due to the weather. Such a shame when we only get 90 days of driving weather.
  16. Great tips Jeff. Looking forward to the finished product.
  17. Should go cheap, the battery is dead and the tank is clearly empty....
  18. Ohhh! Keep digging! You might find a Kenmeri next!
  19. Tried powdercoating another valve cover for fun. I didn’t like the way the black powder coat looked so I sprayed it down with bed liner, the same stuff I used on the frame rails. Polished the lettering and now I like it!
  20. .... or get one of each....
  21. What is this "unmodified car" of which you speak? ?
  22. unicorn..... I had no luck sourcing one a couple years ago. I had to buy a tank with old unit inside. Even that took two years to find.
  23. Interesting. My setup will have a pressure gauge on the entrance to the fuel rail, and another at the FPR return. That should give me the same setup basically. Pressure before and after the rail.
  24. Not all 280’s came with 5 spd’s. 75 & 76 were 4 spds and I think late 77’s came with 5 spd. I might be wrong on when they appeared. There is a lot of room in the drivers area. And the good news for you is that the 2+2 is the least desirable of the models for most people so you will be able make a good deal if you don’t let on you’re looking for a 2+2! And the manual tranny swap is mostly pedal box, clutch linkage and a little trimming of the tunnel opening if you are putting a 5 spd in a 240. The steering column is the same.
