  1. Wish I could find a set for my early 76...
  2. I'm such a butterfly! Got sidetracked with building the new "bulldog" end for the passenger side. Made a form around the dead one and welded in new capture nuts. Stretched, pounded, cut and welded the shape out. Still needs final fitting...
  3. Nope. Nope nope nope.... But have at it if that's for you!
  4. I have a local friend with a Nismo 5 spd out of his race car. He swapped a T5 back in for the shorter track. He has two sets of gears for it too I believe. PM me for contact info. Won't be cheap as panchovisa mentioned...
  5. Passenger frame rail in progress...
  6. 14'6" from end to end of the rotisserie with lots of room in the garage!
  7. Corner fixed. Not pretty but solid and no rust. It will look better after body work!
  8. Floorpan battle scars!
  9. Not if he is using adhesive tape... I'm not going to use the holes on mine either.

  11. Realistically this belongs too... not many people would find this to be a car to love!
  12. I'll run a tape measure down mine when I'm out there next! 24' garage and lots of room to walk around the car...

  15. 370 seats? Nice! I like the tubing straightener... details?
  16. 6" grinder with a 12amp motor has better control... less kickback and more smooth thru various thicknesses.
  17. That's why I keep the guards on.... At one of my shops on base there is a grinder disc stuck in the drywall.... 30' up the wall!! We left it as a reminder...
  18. Found another honey hole before I shut it down for the night...
  19. Thanks! I am enjoying the metal work more than I thought I would. I figure the more pics I take, the better reference for later on as well as to help others in the same process as me. I would like a TIG at home but I have access to some nice stuff at work, so as long as the piece is portable, I can do it there. Thanks for the feedback! Nice to know people are following along...
  20. Next up..., the passenger frame rail!
  21. Opened up this can of worms... Good thing I am replacing all of that!
  22. Also repaired the lower rad support. Decided to cut the bottom open, bash the metal flat again, frame coat it, and re-weld it together again. Mostly straight again and now it will hold the original nacelle pieces properly.
  23. Finished the welding of the support piece with the help of my son in law.
