Stock as a rock the other not
Hi Guys, Yer Nathans plan is to get some nice wheels for it and lower it so it should come up looking real nice. Anyhow funny story behind the car is that Nathan actually tried to buy it as I did about 4 years ago when I was doing up my other Z. At that time the car was not painted but stripped in pieces as it sat for years and was totally exposed in regards to condition so it was easy to spot that it would be a nice base to start with. The only reason it fell into my hands was the last owner is sort of semi retired and ran out of room in his paint shop which is now half leased out.

Stock as a rock the other not
Thanks Guys. I believe the stocker was colour matched to the original but it was painted by the previous owner that is a panel shop owner about a year ago and my little fatty Z was a colour that I picked out off a chart. Just a nice bright red that I really like.

Selling my 2nd Z
Thanks guys. Yer it is the car in the foreground I'm selling. Unfortunately money and space has become an issue with the upcoming purchase of a new home so I made it a good price to get a quick sales. Actually I'm picking up the money for the car this morning as it sold within 30 minutes of advertising, but it'll go to a good home thats here in Melbourne.

Cross Drilled Rotors in Australia?
Robert, the slotted pads you have for $250!? Where did you buy them and what brand are they? Hi Tommo560, yer I have no concerns about cracking as I doubt I would ever get them that hot on the street.

Cross Drilled Rotors in Australia?
Thanks for the advice Tom. I did find the DBA catalogue soon after my post. My old discs are due to be changed and to be honest with you I thought the cross drilled models look good. Considering it's just a weekend driver and not a track car it would'nt concern me too much seeing it won't get pushed that hard, well maybe very occasionally. Any idea on how much DBA charge for them??? Thnks SUlio

Dead,
Got home just as it was getting dark and had a quick play around with what I think is the fusable link. Results are good seeing the car kicked over and started first turn of the key and kept starting reliably. I'll take a better look tmrw but just to be sure I've taken a photo of what I think is the fusable link. Any comments guys? Is this the fusable link?
