  1. Nice work, I believe that's called the relay panel in your above picture.
  2. Thanks, I read throught those and they sound pretty complete. I really thought it would take more than an hour!
  3. I would like to take the dash out of my car, but I fear it. How long did it take you to do that?
  4. Looks like a nice project car, look forward to seeing your progress.
  5. You can use ordinary female spade connectors if you spread them a little bit before you crimp them on.
  6. Beautiful job!
  7. I'll do that. Should have checked it that way before I installed it, but it was a new unit and didn't expect any problems. Have to run some gas out of it, now.
  8. I got a Nissan unit from MSA, and it was just like the original. I think bending the arm would help, thanks for that idea!
  9. I think I put almost 8 gallons in before mine got to that point. I shorted the sending unit wires together and the gauge read full. Maybe the sender I got is out of calibration. Well, its better than no reading at all.
  10. I just replaced my sending unit. Filled the tank until there was gas about halfway up the filler pipe, and the gauge reads just over 3/4 full. I don't see how I could get much more gas in this thing.
  11. Thanks, I'll do that.
  12. They offer a forum member discount? How can I find more info on that?
  13. I'll connect the vent on top of the tank to the evap canister line going to the front of the car. The canister is gone, but it will move the vent away from passengers and keep gas from sloshing out.
  14. Oh, yes, I'm going to use the 3/8 nipple on top of the tank as a vent.
  15. I'm going to delete the vapor tank and run the big filler vent hose direct to the gas tank. I believe it is 5/8, I'll look for some pex fittings at the hardware store.
  16. Well, I'll be. Somebody already removed my interior panels, so I did not recognize them. Here is my stuff.
  17. i guess not. I put my glasses on and still can't tell what it is.
  18. Thanks for posting the pictures, I can't really tell what your red arrow is pointing to.
  19. I understand how this is supposed to work now, thanks to the pictures and explanations.
  20. That link just goes to the home page for me.
  21. Isn't the cap designed to vent pressure outward instead of allowing air into the tank as fuel is used?
  22. How is your tank vented if you capped the vents? I am trying to do the same.
  23. Super deal on the air filter!
  24. Thanks, I think I understand your concept. I would like to do something similar on my car, but it is a 260.
