i have a stock 78 280z fuel injected.

my car is set at about 800 rpms but most of the time, it usually idels higher than that, sometimes its over 1000rpms, the highest I've seen it idel at is about 1300rpms. its very unpredictable. My car is fuel injected. Its not exactly a power surge and its somewhat predictable. Thanks for helping me out Mudge! Well, Im gonna do a major tune up soon so i'll see what happens after that.

:disappoin Then is there anythin i can do to correct this? I've only had the car about 2 months. So im not sure about any kind of maintanace.

when i got the car , the low beams were already out, so im not sure. I have alrealy checked the fuses, but maybe i'll check them again, WEll, THANKS!

me again, I was wondering how many miles per gallon on a 78 280z(stock) should i expect, I'm not quite sure about how mpg i am getting but it seems as if im gettin very little mpg? any one know? If there anything i can do to improve my fuel economy? Thanks again!

Hi guys!, Well, I'm new to z cars and i was wondering how do u remove the head lights, i have an 78 280 and the low beams are out. i tried to remove them but i dont now how to. I dont want to damage anything. Thanks!

:disappoin I have a stock 78 280. when i drive the car, it feels arse if i dont have much low end power. It seems like the powerband doesnt really kik in until about above 1500rpms, and its even worst when tryin to pull up hill. if im in any other gear besides 1st, i have to be at least at 2000rpms or higher (depending on the steepness of the hill) to get up with out my rpms droping. Is this normal? Is there anything i can do to fix it? Thanks guys!

Well, Thanks a lot guys. Lookin' at the picture again. i kinda think ur rite Alfadog. they do look a lil big for the car. I'll look around till i find some better ones. Thanks for the link 26ounce!

Hey guys! I have a 78 280z and i dunt really like how the bumpers look. I was wondern" if it was posible to put 240 bumpers or maybe the early 260 bumper on my 280? Thanks!

i was wondern' if the 240 bumpers would fit onto my 78 280? if not is there anything i can do to make it fit? or would early 260 bumpers fit?
