well, i know that the heads are different. where the l28 has a n42 head with round exhaust ports and the l28et has a p90 head with square exhaust ports. I think that there are more water passages in the l28et, but im not sure.

I figured maybe i can mill the notches myself. That shouldnt be too difficult rite? How do i check if its harden steel valve seats and not bronze. thanks a bunch guys. Happy New Year!

so if i mill the injector notch into the head, i would be fine? or do i also have to replace the valve seats? and it shouldnt be too difficult to mill the notch for the injectors rite? Only reason i ask is because this guy has a complete head wit valve train and all for 90 buks.

i plan on pickin up an e88 head and want to keep the factory efi, i was just wondering if it'll all bolt up and run with no problems? And is 90 a good price for a complete e88 head? claims to have about 60k miles on it.

Im currently looking for another z. I broke a valve in my 280 and yes, it is injected. I was wondering how much these are worth? whats a good price for these? Im getting another because my battery tray area has rusted thru, i have damage on the rear quaters, and some one tried to pull out some off it and never finished it. If it wasnt for the battery tray rust or the quater pannel. i would keep it.

There are 3 models of S30s in this Game. The last boss believe it or not is a 260z. Super fast car!!! Only way to beat him is if he crashes! This game takes forever to finish. There are also a 240z and a 240zg. :classic: Just wanted to share with u guys.

i made my own box to fit right behind the seat. I made it to take as lilttle space as posible. I plan to run 2 8" diamond audio CM3 subs. These subs are really good. These subs can be use wit really small enclosures. My boxes are built wit an inner volume of i tink a little more than .27cubic inches of air volume after displacing the subwoofer. They sit snug right behind the seats. Still allowing u space to recline the seats and slide it bak some. Just wanted to share my setup.

Thats exactly how i have the wires and rotor. I jus rechecked it, did some adjustments and its at the exact location. Im gettin spark and i smell a lot of fuel on the plugs. still wont start. the #1 cyl. cam lobes are both pointed up. Crank pully is at tdc and the camgears timing mark is jus right of the oblong groove. Wat can it be? If there were the wrong amount of links between to cam gear and the crank gear then the valve timing would be off, correct? So that would mean the cam gears timing mark would not be jus right of the oblong groove when the crank is at tdc. And that would also mean that the both cam lobes wouldnt be pointed up. am i correct? I'll have to take everything off and check the amount of chain links tomorrow if it doesnt start. The car started up after i reasembled everything. It idled fine, but ran rough. then i adjusted the cams again because when i checked, it was off. after that, it wouldnt start. Well, it started up for a quick second then jus died.

from driver side, its approximately between 9 and 10

the wire is left of the clip, but its not at 8:00. I also have the rotor pointed in that direction when its at tdc.

lookin at the front twards the back, the # one wire is at about between 6 and 7. lookin from the driver side twards the passenger, its about between 9 and 10. so this is wrong? when i said 8:00 it was jus thinkin from wat i remember. i just went outside to look at it, and this is wat i saw.

im lookin from driver side, not front of the car. If i were lookin from the front, it would be at 8 0'clock And now that i tink about it, its not a 9 o'clock from driver side, its at about 10 o'clock And yes, I've realized that chilton manuals suk! hahah

the rotor is pointed a 9 o'clock from the driver side lined up wit the #1 wire. when the crank pully is at tdc, the #1 piston is at the top. The cam gear is placed in the second hole and the timing mark is right of the oblong grove as it should be. Both exhaust and intake lobes on #1 is pointed twards the top. It sound like it wants to start up, but jus doesnt. Could it be fuel? It started yesterday, idled fine but revved funny. It sounded like wrx. I didnt start it up this moring when i checked the cams and found it off. then after i corrected it, I tried to start it, it started up for a quick second, and jus died. after that, it jus wouldnt start.

Ok, I tried to find out wat was rong today. Adjusted the cams again. Then it wouldnt start anymore. I check the dizzy, the rotor was in the rong place, i adjusted that, and still no luck. I really need help guys! anyone?

My friend kept sayin it sounded like i had a v8, anybody know?

Hey guys! I jus got everything bak together. My timing was off and b4 i never did ne ting to the motor b4 this. the couldnt be adjusted to the correct timing. Now its correct and idles fine. But when i test drove it. it sound like a wrx wit an aftermarket exhaust. It runs rough. I check the fire order, its fine, checked the wires , thats fine. The plugs were fine when i put it bak in. I checked the cam timing mark. and it seemed like it was in the correct place. Right of the oblong groove. Any body know wat i did rong? I had the crank at tdc 0 degrees when i put everything bak together.

I've been tryin to find some info on the 65mm throttle bodies from ford?. But no luck. I was jus wondering if anybody knows anything about them like what car it comes from, or what would i need to do to get one to work properly on my z?
