Ok I can not fine the way to identify a 5 speed transmission with the S/N only the automatic transmission. Is the only way to identify the 5 speeds with transmission ears?

Just rebuilt my A/C system. If I was going to do it agin I would just put in a small Vintage Air unit. It may end up being a little more money but you have great unit.

Correct me if I'm wrong I've been looking for a 81 to 83 transmission. A guy that gave me the serial number off the one he is saying is out of 83. The serial number is 7807108. I believe this is out of 1977, months of production August. Do you think I'm correct.

I'm the third owner. The first sold it in 89 and second sold it to me in 2011 with 21k. The car had the original tires on it when I got it. I'm driving more that the first two.

So did you replace the evaporator? I just had the front end of the A/C replace and now it look like the evaporator on my 280z has a leak. I have also gone with 134a.

Anyone know a place with can rebuild a Hitachi air compressor? It is HOT in Houston.

Has any found a easy replacement for the Hitachi A8937 air compressor? My was all working and then the compressor started leaking. All the thread I have read are saying rebuilding them is not worth the money.

So I just look thought all the the threads I could fine and can not fine any detail threads about power locks installing.

Has anyone ever written up a detailed account how to installed a automatic locking system on Z. I looked allthrough the threads really can't find a detailed written up step by step. Specify which hardware how does it all hook up. How did they drill the hole from through the door jam. You know a real detailed right up. Here are some of the hardware that I've been recommended to use. Viper 211HV (P/N# 412V) High-quality universal door lock actuator - two wire with mounting hardware. GALAXY DLRM DOOR LOCK RELAY KIT I have lots of questions like what's the difference between the two wire accelerator and a five wire one, can't find anything about the differences. I can do almost anything type of work but electrical scares me a little no a lot.

Anyone know a good transmission shop in Houston Texas at can work on the old five speeds for Z.

Get the center hole mill out of the one's you have

I'm running 205 55 16 and this HybridZ only talks about tires 225 and over

I have a lower 1" 78 with camber adjustment on all four corners, and have read all I can fine about alignment settings. Can not fine anything about want the setting should be. Any info would help me go to the Alignment Shop with some good info. Thanks

Look for any one who has a set of lower control arms for sale chreap. I'm going to rebuild my lower control arms with a camber adjustment and do not want the car off the road the whole time. I got a 78.
