  1. I found my receipt and it was $20.07 in 2018, each. So $53 isn't as crazy as I thought.
  2. We were walking around Atlanta one night and stumbled up on him at Chastain amphitheatre. Sold out show. Gave the guard at the gate $100, went in and saw the whole show except the introduction song. Myself and two others. Life story for sure. He talked as much as he sang. It was great! Lot of skunks around that arena apparently? Very strong pissers!
  3. That tile looks familiar? Missing some stains though.
  4. This gave me chill bumps. Perfect song, perfect timing.

I live either at the beginning or the end of the Appalachian Mountains, depends on where you standing. I like to think the beginning but s h i t does flow down so most likely the end. Add my train of thought, where I was going with my post. There's a lot of state parks and the like up here cheap and friendly so I bet they do get close. Cornbread and grits and all that other stuff nobody admits to like.
  6. In my experience if Courteseynissan.com has them my local guys do too, same price but i pay no shipping.
  7. My local dealership got these overnight not too long ago.

I can be in Pensacola in about 4 hours. She wear those mask too.
  9. Mine are a lot thinner rubber in the middle than the originals. These may be thicker. You could ask, nice guy there. https://zcardepot.com/products/hatch-rubber-plug-grommet-oem-240z-260z-280z-70-78?variant=19274559815793&currency=USD&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=google+shopping&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIqbOKvI_07AIVHOy1Ch0EdQAJEAQYAiABEgJ8svD_BwE
  10. Post #13 has the 2 rubber plugs on that panel. Bought them at local Nissan dealership. Forgot the thread. Edit 2. Under that panel. Bottom of the hatch.
  11. This is what I am using. https://zcardepot.com/products/clutch-slave-cylinder-240z-260z-280z-72-78?_pos=5&_sid=7db12e4c4&_ss=r
  12. The newer self adjusting one works on all Zs.
  13. I wonder how much money has been spent because that heating element went bad causing a replacement installed? Everyone I've ever heard of going bad was because of that.
  14. It was fun to talk about right after it happened. We were going around a sharp curve when the turbo spun up, the rear tires got off to the side in the grass then slid onto a cement driveway. Instant roll over. Busted some glass, beer cooler water and ice everywhere and we were laying on the roof (no seat belts back then, not cool). When the driver turned the ignition switch off fearing a possible fire Betty reminded us the lights were still on. I ran off and left my buddy with the ZX full of beer. We were in high school.
  15. Does your daughter's car have the #304 sticker too? I apologize if you've stated that already but I can't seem to see/read it. I have a 9/'76 #305 original paint. It's differently the light blue.
  16. I can't add much more than what has been posted already. The book by Honsowetz is worth every penny. https://www.amazon.com/Modify-Your-Nissan-Datsun-Engine-ebook/dp/B0092WMDCK Then an older thread I found about turbulence in the intakes but that's also in the book.
  17. Way off topic alert- Smooth as a bowling ball down there but love fur coats.
  18. I think of it like cholesterol. My grandparents died in their 60s. My parents, their 80s with monitoring and medication for high level LDLs. Change with intelligence.
  19. Therapist? Soooooo how'd you find out???? You got me laughing Zed Head. Thank you. It's a lot easier to laugh tonight too.
  20. I'm using my phone now but have a lot more stuff on my laptop I can put up tomorrow. Here's some good stuff to look over from Kanga. https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-americamovil-us-revc&source=android-home&source=hp&ei=6CanX5HnJMWb5wL-ib-IBA&q=how+to+modify+datsun+l+series+heads&oq=how+to+modify+datsun+l+&gs_lcp=ChFtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1ocBABGAMyBQghEKABMgUIIRCgATIFCCEQoAEyBQghEKsCMgUIIRCrAjoECCkQCjoCCCk6BQgpEMkDOgkIKRDJAxAWEB46BwgpELEDEAo6BwgpELEDEEM6BwgpEMkDEAo6BQgAELEDOgIIADoICAAQsQMQgwE6BQgpEKABOgIILjoLCAAQsQMQgwEQyQM6BQgAEMkDOggIABCxAxDJAzoGCAAQFhAeOggIIRAWEB0QHlD1FVjk8gFgjpoCaABwAHgAgAG_AYgBrBWSAQQzLjIwmAEAoAEBsAEP&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-hp
  21. Bitching Betty is what I've always heard. We flipped a ZX turbo and when we realized we weren't dead we started laughing, "ding, your lights are on. ding, your lights are on". Alcohol was a major factor that night.
  22. The thing that nobody can resist trying in their head is "race car is spelled the same both ways". You say that to someone and they get that spacey pause for a second.
  23. That's awesome dude! Congratulations, here again I'm jealous as hell.
