		smaller bumpers

Cheers Gav, I am now back at Uni after working for 1 year at Holden so I am watching the cash flow - i wanna get the bumper but I am gonna rebuild an engine soon so I am putting all the cash into that. We must go for a drive soon! I just got a job around the corner from Video Busters - The London Tavern (Working behind the bar). If I see your car parked i will come and say hello! If not will see ya at Uni next week! MP

		Very Technical Ride Hieght Check

After a lengthy think i found a very accurate way to measure the spoiler-ground clearance. Once my King Springs arrive it should bring it down about 2.5 Inches and hopefully will still love Macca's Drive-thru speed humps..(Just).

		smaller bumpers

Gav's car shows how good removing the rear bar altogether can look I personally like the rear bar on with the overiders taken off (See my car). Gav's does look cool though. I must say I want to know what drugs the guys who designed the 280Z bumpers were on cos they are rediculously huge (Safety issues aside). Oh well, I will stick to my 240Z....

		Dumb De Dumb Dumb

mate, I had a similar experience that is equally as stupid. It was about 11.30pm on a saturday night, my 73' 240Z is immaculately cleaned, it is bloody cold as hell, and as we all now the old engines love the crisp air so I am out racing around have a bit of a hoon. Pull up in a service station where a few onlookers have agnder at the beast, and as i return i have a chat and they wanna here it take off. So i get in.... and click.... click... nothing. after getting out, looking everywhere (or so i thought). I had given up (as i wipe the ice off my nose) and about to ring my old man when i look over that the positive terminal hanging off the battery due to the battery clamp having come off.... lovely.. I did give it a big rev on the way out... but the damage had been done.. :stupid: oh well.... keep smiling dudes...

		LED dash lights.... :)

On the topic of lighting up dull instrument clusters I have come across a small roughly 2mm dia. neon 'string' which is powered by a small transformer that would easily run 12V. I think I am going to run the wire around the face of the gauges thus light up the instrument's a whole lot better! and in any colour you want! I am still lookin into it, keep ya all posted..

What would u guys say about this?

Sounds like some good stuff. I use Meguires but i havent got the bottle here to tell ya what it is - OI have crappy paint and the poilish brought the paint up to a great finish. It is in a black squeeze tube... This stuff you linked to looks like it did wonders to the bonnet on the 350. :classic:

heres the way to sell a car.

What a pissa! There is some things that are just hard to believe when you hear about them, and this would be one! I believe the story, but if someone told me about it, i wouldn't believe em'! What a poor thing to do to the zed? Do gun-weilding gangsters have no respect??? :classic:

		Stock coil springs

I live in AUS so i cant help you out But i wouldnt get the standard springs re-tempered - I know that here is AUS you can get affordable aftermarket springs so surely in the states you can get your hands on some? :classic:

		Stock coil springs

Its no use buying old springs - get new springs made to the same OEM rate & height. But if i was you i would get it dropped an inch or 2 and get it riding a little firmer.

		240z missing

Ian, I would check the dizzy to make sure the rotor button and everything is ok - i had an ignition problem with my 73 240Z and it all looked good except the allegedly new rotor button was cracked. Also, check the fuel pump & filter (which you said were ok so that is all right). Other than that it could well be the gas. Here is AUS the gas is crap - they water it down with ethanol to as much as 30%. Bastards. It makes havoc with the engine and i get my car pinging when i get dodgy fuel. I havent really helped much but just double check everything.

		240Z 4 sale in Adelaide

Those tyres need to be a bit wider to fit the rims - the car looks very straight though. I wouldnt ever own a dark coloured car after my deep purple 1200 coupe - too much maintenance to keep it looking good.
