Hi all. I am by no means a metal worker, so here goes. I paid a guy (its always "a guy") to weld up my floors, and he did a decent job, but didn't weld the horizontal seam in the footwell. Since it is much easier for me to rivet than to weld, is that sound thinking? I can waterproof the area without any problem. All help/opinions/insults are welcome. Thanks Curtis 72 240 3.2

Hi all - 72 240 with Eibach/Tokico setup. I am working on the full install, and now I am reading about bump steer spacers on blackdragon.com that are needed for lowered Z's. Does 1" count? Do I need these spacers? And lastly, does anyone else notice that the blackdragon catalog is the old MSA catalog?

Hi all, how to tell if a hub is good? As long as I replace races, I am ok, right? Hard to trust something 40 years old and HAH to get off the brakes.

I will add a question to this. How can I tell if the hub is good? And btw, zupreder, it isn't an assembly. I sure wish it was.

The deal is that someone take both cars. I have a trailer and truck, I will give you the hood, I'll take the SU's, we can piece out the rest. I just don't have room to put anything more in my driveway.

Hi all - I had a guy pull into my driveway last week when I was working on my 72, and he told me he had two Z's he was trying to get rid of. He was going to race them, but decided on Camaros instead. I went by yesterday to see what he had, and here it is: 1) a 72 240 POS - only good I could see on it was a complete motor and a decent hood. Otherwise, shot. 2) a 81 ( I think) 280ZX, with 5 speed. Good news is they are both free, in Cumming, GA if anyone wants. I don't want them, but I told the man I'd put them up on the forum, so I have. I can go back and take pics, no problem, if anyone has interest.

Tons of looks, no replies....I must be the most boring man in the 240z world.

I am going to do the same, with a spare 240 dash I have lying around. I'll post progress/results as well. If its any good, I'll install it in my project car and then fix the other one, and maybe sell it....start a mini business here in GA....to pay for the car..
