Hey Mellow Great to see another "Z" guy in Adelaide, Iv'e seen 2 260Z 2+2's recently that looked fantastic, a metallic dark blue one and a silver one both were slightly lowered with good looking mags and window tint. as for parts it depends what you want, a lot of wear and tear mechanical stuff is avail over the counter, Jim at Main Nth Nissan is pretty helpful , other than that take up Z-kid's & DOHC's offer before you scrounge around the wreckers or post here for suggestions on particular items. . There is one definite plus for using l.e.d.'s they use aprox 1/20 th amp draw, might be a consideration for using some behind the original lenses.

Other shows to keep an eye out for were E-type Jag, Corvette and Mustang.

Most of the magazine articles on the 240z and 260z list the stock BHP as 151 and 137 respectively but my 74 260z I.D plate list's 162 bhp and so do a few aust 1974\75 motoring magazines. what hapenned down under, what about N.Z and the U.K what did you get over there. Cheers Roger Adelaide STH OZ

Sean they are readily available here in Australia # 1056 178mm without park light globe holder # 1058 178mm with park light globe holder # 5604/100 conv kit/pair online catalogue is www.hella.com.au there are plenty of english cars that used 7 inch round lamps surely they would be avail in the u.k. also Narva do H4 halogen inserts, most of the 240Z'S at a recent Adelaide classic car rally had the narva's installed. Thanks Royce & Beandip I will keep your offers in mind , I dont think freight is a great concern but add that to our lower dollar value { 1/2 } it gets a bit expensive but its all relative to how scarce something is. I'll wait for a while to see if something turns up over here. thanks again Roger

Has any one tried "MOTHERS" preserves protectant with any success. It claims 30 days UV protection among other things but it does contain silicon emulsion. Rogersz

I'm pretty sure all Aussie 260z's are R200's ,I have an aussie Nissan workshop manual and it only list's the R200. My car is an early 260Z 4/74 and it is a R200. Cheers Roger
