  1. Well, what is it? If it’s a road car which is what Nissan says it is, then I was right, not wrong. Gnose said it’s a sports car, not a race car so he’s right too. Seems like neither of us is wrong...
  2. Vintage Weekend at Road America...
  3. Road Atlanta. Devendorf through 5...
  4. No roll cage, two seats, full interior, no graphics. Even if it’s a race car by design it’s technically not a race car.
  5. Not technically a race car but wow!
  6. Gene Felton. Reportedly Mid-America Raceway but that looks like good old Georgia clay doesn’t it?
  7. Hey! That’s my car! Road America
  8. Same shot, different track...
  9. Best seat in the house, if you’re watching the race!
  10. Looks like red clay earth under that trailer. Road Atlanta? Andretti started Racing for Newman/Haas in 1983. But as far as I know, never raced Trans Am. CART and Trans Am on the same track weekend?
  11. Not sure of the track. Anyone?
  12. June Sprints in the 1980’s with feminine course worker enhancement...
  13. Actually, I think Whittington was in on it and the car belongs to a collector at this point.
  14. A couple years back, Bruce Canepa, who is known for being a prankster hired a bunch of actors and pranked one of the Whittington brothers. They were at Labuan Seca which is Bruce’s home track of course. It was a vintage race weekend and Whittington had one of their Porsche’s there. I believe they had Canepa do some work on it. Anyway, into the pit area come the Crown Vics. Out come guys wearing DEA jackets. Whittington is in handcuffs and in comes a flatbed to tow away the Porsche as an asset seizure. I have pictures somewhere. They all had a pretty good laugh in the end.
