New from SoCal
Hi, Casino. Welcome to the board! Your car looks pretty good for what is obviously a survivor. It appears to be a '71, '72, or possibly a '73, rather than a '70. Nonetheless, you'll enjoy your efforts to bring her back. We all wish you great success.

Rear sway bar
RE: #13, Rob. Be sure to say a big HELLO for me to Bill. He's one fast Z driver! If I remember correctly, he runs soft springs w/bars. Frank

Rear sway bar
My experience, though limited, shows that a rear bar does increase oversteer a bit. My bar is 3/4" (which may be a bit heavy) and a smaller one might not be as severe. I had originally set the car up for Auto-X back in the '70s and it really helped there, but on track days, it can get a bit squirrelly as the speeds are considerably higher.... makes you pay attention, I'll tell ya!

PPG is the ONLY way to go Gold..... I'm quite pleased with the color, the match to the original and the gloss.

Took my little Zed out for an afternoon romp
Show off.... Beautiful settings, gorgeous Z.

Agreed value. What's it worth?
One thing you can do to bolster your claim as to the car's worth is to have it appraised by someone familiar with the marque, history, etc.

HS30 found and bought in the States! Another money pit!
Ditto all above. You've got yourself a rare Z indeed.....

What I did today
Nothing quite as drastic as you guys have written. We bought a new house, haven't sold the old one yet. The Z was kept at the old house until I could get the new garage tidied adequately to house her. Today was homecoming. First mile since ZCON, and Lordy, was it fun!

Just bought.
Nice find!

Happy Birthday Mr. K!
Yep! Mr. K's 101st birthday is cause for celebration. Where would this brotherhood of Z-dom be sans Mr. K? Thank you, Mr. K.

New 260Z owner
Well, welcome, Jeff. You'll find a literal TON of info here. The search function is especially helpful for "right now" answers, but if you can't find what you're needing, ask away. There is a lot of knowledge available to assist you in whatever you'd like to accomplish with your new Z. Post your pics soon. We love to look at Zs...

auto-interior carpet problems
Sounds like you need to send pictures to your supplier as it seems they may have mis-binned the pieces and are pulling incorrect stock for you. 2 cents.

Konig Wheel Issue
I recently installed Konig Rewinds, 16 x 7, on my '70. No issue at all with the center caps not fitting. Perhaps they are different than the 15" wheels???

car won't start
You say the engine "wants" to turn over. Does it turn over? If it does, why did you replace the battery?

car won't start
How does anyone answer this question with such a minimum amount of information?

I've asked everywhere else so...
One possibility comes to mind: a crack in the housing.

Overheat again!
Cool. I try not to plagiarize whenever possible.

Overheat again!
One solution to air entrapment may be to park the car on a fairly steep incline, front of the car up. After the engine has cooled a bit, remove the radiator cap and restart the engine. Allow to return to operating temp. All the air "should" gurgle to the highest point, the open radiator cap, thus purging the air from the system. I read about this technique somewhere on this forum.... I think from ZsOndabrain???
