Deck is surfaced, but did Datsun ever come with relief's ? I once heard that the relief's dont even match up with the valves, to me they are just less compression and more chance of detonation. Hi all I'm out looking after pistons for my L24, i have sourced down a supplier with very interesting prices, they have 2 kind of flat tops, the one with valve relief's and the other without. The seller say that the one without (Ry 2516) is for 70 - 72 and the one with relief's (RY 6335) is for 73. My car is a 73, still i prefere pistons without relisf's The only thing i can think could be the reason for the pistons having relief's is due to larger valves in the E88. My question is, will the one without relief's work ? motor is bone stock, except of round top SU's and header, any input is appreciated. Chris

Yeahr and the funny thing is that things often comes while you least expect it, that is what happened to me, i was out looking after a KM/H speedometer the seller had a rally clock and before i knew off it, it was mine, i found out what it was after i bourght it. Chris

Personally i wouldn't make a bid without knowing if it is tested and found okay,it is not serious to answer like that, it takes like 10 minutes to find out, if he have the harness that connect the two parts, if not the buyer have to start looking after one and how hard can that be ? Chris

I would also prefere vinyl, it looks more original even that fabric is nicer to sit on. Chris

IIRC the front is 19 millimeter stock, you can upgrade to 23 or 25, as far as i know, you have to upgrade in the front if you put one in the rear. Chris Black dragon have a good site with sway bars, there you can also see the gain in procentage.

Hmmm. i kind of forgot to mention that it should be a eibach, it just slipped in to my mind now, i do have a 25 mm one for the front and i will take your advice and look in to how to reinforce. Chris

I have searched and read but no answers to my question, yet. I noticed thet there is 2 different NISSAN OHC covers one with bigger fonts than other, i like to know if anyone knows the difference in them (except font size) like what year they came from, head and such. Is there anyone that can fill me in on this ? Chris
