It could be her, although she was a blonde at the show last night and her bio says nothing of the Kiwi Ballet... steve

    >>>>But you americans are used to Big Ugly 4WD's so youv'e been desensitized to them. <<<< Somewhat... one one hand, yes. They can not build H2's fast enough, and they are sublimely UGLY. But other than that, what else is ugly? Are 'Burbs, Explorers, Cherokees' 4-runners and Pathfinders ugly? Are Land-cruisers and Range Rovers ugly? If anyting, the last two are of an 'International' pedigree, no? The original FJ and Range Rover are the grandaddies of boxy, ugly utility vehicles. Sylish to a tee and icons of design, but boxy and ugly none-the-less. But, back to the H2. Put this new FJ style alongside an H2, and the FJ will show very well, I am afraid. (personally, I think it's gorgeous, but it is just a concept, so am not expecting it or anyting like it to actually see the streets.) And where do you get those tires?!?!?!? steve

God, that's a horrible picture... It really doesn't do her justice...A fairly deep search of the web has turned up no ...um... um......you know... better pixs of Larissa Wright. Seems her dancing career has been rather wholesome... I guess somewhere I expected to find her personal website... At the show last night, some tall skinny guy from Des moines or something was playing Henry the Octopus, so Larissa was on stage most of the night just as a dancer in 'normal' costume.

The absolute altime most incredible truck ever built is returning! Check this baby out. Talk about retro and 'returning to roots...' (as a little progress study, compare a picture of a '69 240 and a 350Z and then compare a pic of this to a '69 FJ). steve ps..though I'm gusessing it dosn't come with a straight 6...

How long ago was that? Harvest is coming up over there, isn't it? The vines look mighty healthy. Are they irrigated or dry-farmed? Are they head-trained? Either that or the smallish vine at the end is hiding the anchor-post of the trellis. Do you have any more pix of head-trained shiraz? Try not to get them so blurry! At LEAST include the name of the vineyard next time! DOHHHHH! steve

    >>>>>and parking the car under a lawn sprinkler for 15 minutes to simulate rain<<<<< Dateline: Bay Area, California PLEASANTON MAN MURDERED BY Z A Pleasanton man was found dead in his bed early Tuesday morning, sherriff's deputies report. The man's identity has not been released pending notification of his kin. The man's long-term vehicular companion, Bambikiller, was found cowering in the closet. The murder weapon was not found and the car is considered the only suspect. She is being held at a local jail. At arraignment proceedings early this morning, a municipal judge denied bail on the grounds he considered Bambikiller a flight risk. The public defender appointed to the case argued the car has only minor legal infractions in its past. At a brief public appearance late last evening, Bambikiller was quoted as saying, "Quack."

OK, let's see...(this has been a really complicated thread!) The T-5 out of a '82 is not correct. T-5's will bolt up to a VG30 (with the Nissan shaft on it) but a L28? Weimeriamerienrers are the COOLEST doggies in the whole world. I have seen the nicest, gentlest, friendliest ones and also ones bred, raised and trained to kill anything that moves (I want the friendly type) . My wife thinks they are ugly, but with Kimba 'the miracle road-dog' knocking on 10, I see a purple puppy in my future. Sounds like a great car. GET IT OUT OF OREGON NOW!!!!! To post pix directly to frame, host them somewhere (another web site) and then right-click on the picture you want (at the other site) select 'Properties', highlight the address which shows up in properties, right-click and 'copy'. Close the properties dialogue box. THEN, in your reply, select the IMG button (up there) and in the IMG dialogue box, paste the address you copied (Make sure it doesn't end up "http://http://........."). Close the box and the address with the appropriate html commands will appear in the body of your reply. That's it! VIOLA! Mon (ma?) affiche! steve

Gawdamn! That is a gorgeous motor. Does it use two throttle bodies? Two MAS/AFM? 2 TB and 1 MAS? 220 horse? How lame is that? I wonder what you could get by polishing those runners and porting the heads? Aluminum block? Interesting. steve
