  1. Moi? I am not a bad driver! I'm not, I'm not, I'M NOT!!! Drag your butt over here for the Marina AutoX in June and I will show you bad driving! Just remember: Ignore the cone you're on...just focus on the cone three turns in front of you! steve77
  2. SOCALZ? Doesn't someone else own that name???? steve77

I'm not getting involved in this conversation..... Feel free to check out my gallery.... steve(shaved)77
  4. I've never actually read where the cut-off for Aluminum drums is on 240's. All of the 280's I have torn apart have had them. When did 240's get them--I mean, what years? Actually, a 280might be your best bet...The junk yards are full of them and most (if not all) have AL drums. I bought a set of OEM ones for my 77 (Not Nissan)...Don't recall which brand, but cast iron was an option and the AL ones were about twice the price... steve77
  5. This '73 I am thinking about keeping has a rear-orineted sway bar mounted on the rear. Looks like it has been there about 30n years. It also has the brackiets for a front-oriented rear sway bar welded to the frame. They are identical to the brackets on a 280Z--socket on one side and thread on the other that holds a flat peice of metal that holds the bushing in. There is no sway bar installed in the front-oriented position--just the empty brackets. The rear-oriented one is installed on the mustache bar/rear diffy cross member as you see quite a few 240's.... A. Can someone explain this? B. What would be wrong with installing a stock front-oriented sway bar in the brackets provided IN ADDITION to to the existing rear-oriented one? Yes, the ends may very well be in the same location, but this could be modified. steve77
  6. It's nice you take the time to appreciate such things... SB is great for car-watching...almost as good as PS! steve77
  7. Dang... you don't want much..... steve77
  8. Depends on which 'puter you have...Basically: No. Don't try to get more flow by switching to a turbo AFM. Just 'adjust' (internally) the N/A AFM. A Tubo TB and intake will help, but the AFM is just an adjustment. Search around...you'll see how to adjust... steve77
  9. Seriously...
  10. Two L28 blocks...F54 block (the empty one) and N42 (N42 block! NOT an N42 head!) with crank and dished pistons...also another L28 crank...everything is this pic is for sale.... Unless you absolutely have to have it, I see no reason to ship these puppies...they are basically free to a loving Z home...
  11. The Toyo is gone, but.....This is a Bridgestone RD-150 175HR14 rayon radial. It has 95% tread BUT!!! I discovered it has been plugged!!! So...it's not really worth anything. If somebody wants it though...it's basically free to someone who needs an original tire...otherwise I will just use it as a roller.
  12. Fan shroud and plastic fan with (what feels to be) a good clutch.......Shroud is gone, but fan is still available.
  13. Late E-88 head with bent valves...
  14. Another set of louvers...this set is better quality and has better mounts...
  15. 'D'hubcaps.....710? 810?
  16. Motor...(webers)
  17. Effing Yahoo! Mike, I was trying to keep all this crap off your server, but if you say so... steve77
  18. >>>>How clean are the pistons and rods?<<<< Clean? They just were pulled form a motor, so they are oily-brownish. No huge carbon build-up on the top if that is what you are asking? Just normal old pistons out of a normal old L28...no NOS, no turbo..... steve
  19. Jerry...now you know what a lot of us do when we're bored..... steve77
  20. I modified it...It's really weird..Ihave never had it do that before...show the title and link n the same line and not work...Hmmmmm
  21. (the three) Are these off an 810 or something? Anyone know? steve77
  22. In the '72 I am tearing apart, it has normal looking Hitachi round-tops on it. Under the seat, I found an old For Sale sign listing everything on the car including "Two-barrel Jensen Carbs." Can someone explain this--or was the guy just stoned? steve77
  23. Thought I had seen this discussed recently, but searched and found nothing....What was the original spare tire to come with the full-size spare models? In this case: Late 1972. I just bought two '72's and each has a spare in it that looks original. One is a Toyo and one is a Bridgestone. Both made in Japan and both Nylon corded. Are either of these original and if so, does anyone want them? steve77
