Reputable shop to rebuild L-series engine in the Bay Area?
Hi Bro, it was great talking with you on the phone yesterday Yep, it's definately time for a rebuild. Heres pics of my engine that Dean Nakatsu of Nakatsu's Garage built which you asked for, for future reference. Some of the many things he did was clean out my gas tank and installed my K&N Cold Air Intake, new Aluminun Rad, Elec Fan and also set the thermostate to it also. ARP Rod bolts, new bearings, polished the crank, honed the rods, new rings, new rebuilt cylinder head from me which he installed on the original block, soldered on all new connectors for every sensor and fuel injector, all new fuel injectors, modified a stock oil pump into a performance higher flowing one, new dizzy and cap, painted the engine block factory blue and the intake silver, etc etc etc. And all for a good price. Later I'll be taking it apart again to add forged pistons, rods and such. He wanted to paint the valve cover red or black but I told him to leave it alone cause 1 I liked that vintage peeling paint look from the 70's and 2 I didn't want him to touch the vintage Thrush Muffler sticker I added on, thank you ebay Heres the photobucket link now being found. Engine pics More info on the build is at this thread here. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28830&page=4&highlight=state+things. ~Z~

Reputable shop to rebuild L-series engine in the Bay Area?
Call Dean Nakatsu at 530.632.2761 at Nakatsu's Garage in Yuba City, CA 45 miles north of Sacramento where i'm at . He's my engine builder and he does great work! And you can buy and bring in your own parts for cheaper if you can find them. He used to race Z's and is currently a pit crew chief for 3 teams that race ex current / previous generation NASCARS. He can do stock or race builds to your like. I'll send / post some pics of my engine from my photo bucket tomorrow when i get to the hotel. When you call tell him ISAIAH sent you and ask about his shop if you like, it's very capable to say the least ! You got my number, text me if you like. Heh how much you want for that Z btw

Exhaust set up
I think what he is trying to say is who has a NOS Original ANSA Twin Stack they would be willing to sale. He needs one for his show car or so it seems when we spoke on the phone, as I won't be able to make any more for a bit longer than I originally thought.

71 Dealer insalled AC, What is it worth
Can the old ones be made to run better, new internals maybe for the old A/C units? You know like keep all the stock appearing componets on the outside with new stuff inside?

My dual exhaust build
Not so fast buddie Believe it or not ANSA actually made a similar Twice Pipe set up similar to this also. The guys over at Conneceticut Z Car Club.com have the only known 2 or 3 left in existance. It's talked about alot over there especially by the 2 moderators about them having 2 1.25 inch diameter pipes. It's actually goning to be my next project when ever I get home From what I gather it came out before the Twin Stacks did and problely only lasted about a year or so. All joking aside bro your set up looks NICE , it's gotta be pretty loud from what I'm guessing. Jus wish I had my headphones :disappoin Looks like we have some Old School Performance Parts Competition again guys ~Z~

Anybody Hiring in the Sacramento, CA area?
GOT MY LICENSE ! ! ! ! :classic: :classic: :classic: :classic:

I'm Bringing Back Tha Twin Stacks ^_^ !
Just a heads up guys, I'll be home in about 90 days from now and will have about 3 days to build any ANSA's. If you would like one then you have about 90 days from the time and date of this post to save up some scratch (or lie to the wife ) and let me know that you want one. Just let me know here buy calling a shot out with your name with quantity wanted, style option choices as mentioned on my site GangLoadOParts.com/z/ or in the previous post that also has the options list and I'll keep count / track of how many to make. This way I can get all the parts, meterials and paints I need ordered ahead of time and delivered to my home so when I do get there I can crank them all out in a day or two and in the mail before I leave back on the road. Or else you have to wait another 30 to 90 days till I return Payments will have to be made two (2) weeks ahead of time and will be taken only four (4) weeks prior to when I come home and not sooner than that. So basically 2 weeks before the orders go out is the deadline for payments just to make sure I have enough time to get all the parts I need to make them. Incase I didn't make it clear don't send in payments untill 4 weeks before they ship, that means about a 2 week window to make payments. If you live locally to Sacramento, CA area you are welcome to drive up to my home and get your ANSA personally I will let you know what days I'll be home when I do :paranoid: I.E. when I'll know I'll be home, you'll know I take Paypal and USPS (US Postal Service) Money Orders ONLY. Any questions please email me at GLOParts@yahoo.com Thyanx GUYS ~Z~

Anybody Hiring in the Sacramento, CA area?
First of all Thyanx and second Sweet, then we've problely met . Ever come to the Yuba City Raley's store? Diggin you Z BTW, not to many truckers know what it is but the ones that do always strike up a convo cause I'm always talking how I'm tyring to get mines running :tapemouth. Oh check this out, in one of the training videos theres was a shoot from inside the truck looking down the freeway and a Silver 240Z pulled in right in front of it. I said, "A Datsun. I have one of those.", and nobody said anything :paranoid: Figures :stupid:. Well I just got back playing pool from Liams Irish Bar up the block, they have a Red Head girl up in there with the ligitimate Irish Accent, and got racked up by my new roommate. I call him Butter Shot he has the smoothest shot I've ever seen in a pool player. Silent touch and pin point accuracy. Said he used to move pool table for a little bit then started playing 60 to 90 games a day! Bascally he got hooked. He wanted to go pro but didn't, "like any job" he says, "you have to put in 40 hours a week then theres always the chance you'll lose you money". And Liams have a Pool Turnament this Wednesday and we're thinking about going! Yeah so I said if your ever in my area your names Butter Shot. He's from Colorado and said "thats a cool name, I might have to make that my CB handle". So I told him also that if I'm ever crossing that state line I'ma be like "Butter Shot Butter Shot come in. This is Don King whats your 20 come on" ~Z~
