  1. i'm absolutely done with dpllc - not worth the argument at this point, so i'm just going to get the lash pads i need and do it myself. it'll be another $100 that i didn't save going with a "less expensive" head, which i'm considering to be great life training... i will create a small clamp-on fixture to allow me to measure the actual height of my current lash pads from the inside of the dish on the bottom up to the slot where the rocker arm sits, then i'll add the required shim height and hopefully i'll be in the ballpark of a standard set of solid lash pads.
  2. 240 end pieces on the rear, never seen that before, pretty cool. Nice car. Welcome to the forum.
  3. I have HG's of every variety now for some reason and I will take some pics when I get a chance. The latest Felpro HG has turned into a universal gasket which covers 70-80 models. The Nismo was very specific to the e30 block with the HG being cut out around unused water passages. The Felpro has a decent reputation amongst the Z owners I have read. I have two of the Victor Reinz HG's and I wouldn't put them on-they look cheap to me. Oval bore holes? Hmmm. That's weird. You might think the combustion chamber was oval or something
  4. I dont know is this the same guy but here this one guy from "Netherlands" (who is unmistakely an middle-eastern person) tries to purchase EVERY old LHD Kenmeri and other six-shooter Datsuns. Apparently he has been in some sort of trouble with our police. Beware. No matter how much money they offer, be sure that your car will not get the home it deserves. Just my 2 cents. Dont be offended.
  5. 1 point
If the car was jacked up then let down the suspension will bind up and sit funny. Roll the car 10 feet and it will settle down. Could be it.
  6. I didn't see the pile of parts for looking at the yellow bike. Like that! Charles
