  1. The 1975 FSM circuit diaram shows a "T" connector in that area for the Fog Lamp Switch (option). It shows a GW / RG though. It also shows two bullet connectors for the Auto Trans Indicator Lamp - so you can see if the lever is in "P" or "D" at night... RL male and a GW female. Unused of course if you don't have an auto.
  2. To answer your question.........Sounds like a $1.500 Z as it sits. Dennis
  3. Generally I've been impressed with the MSA headers I've seen in the last few years. Build quality is great, flange is nice and thick. As long as the weld on the OUTSIDE to the flange is ok, these gaps will not cause a leak. I'd go around each port with a ball peen hammer and make that tube fit over to the flange better to maximum flow area, and make sure it does NOT stick up past the flange at all anywhere. As long as the flange thickness is the same as a stock flange so those fat washers fit evenly and distribute pressure correctly, it will be fine.
  4. You can take off a fender and pull it from the side, or put a couple blankets across the fender and have someone steady the lift so as not to put any pressure on the fender and lift it from the side. To take it off from the front, you need to remove front bumper, spoiler and valence.I assume that you are using a Harbor Freight lift. BTW.......If clearance is a problem from the front, put it on jack stands and pull a wheel.
  5. Yep, doing them separately is a one person job. Pulling / installing the engine-trans combo together I consider a two person job.
  6. I "re-chromed" my door panel strips today. I bought some chrome vinyl wrap off Ebay and cut some strips and applied it with a heat gun. It turned out really nice. Heres what they looked like before, typical chrome peeled off exposing blue plastic. Applying the chrome vinyl. Heated it up with a heat gun, tucked the edges with a bondo squeegee, then trimmed off the excess. Much better. Did the same with my rear dogleg panels.
  7. Water under the bridge...... With the help of a couple friends and a few beers, I got the motor installed. Here's some pics. Headers and carbs dry fitted to see how they looked. I will need to trim a little off the intake manifold. I'll be replacing the valve cover soon, just need some new bolts.

I was putting together the chrome bumper parts, but as I was doing, it just peeled of on the inside of the bumpers, and all rust and everything. Thought...wtf ! Called the chromer, and they say everything will be re-done thankfully, after a good conversation There's a picture with the bumpers, but they are off again now, they will go back on monday morning. Heres some pictures if the car with the new paint ( there's dust on it and everything, but I will polish and wax it once the weather starts clearing up in the spring and I have some time.
