Pre Sale 1973 240Z

This is the photo that was in the trading post. As soon as I start work on the car I will post more. The car currently has a fuel injected L28, new shocks and coils and a 2 1/2 in exhaust. Does anyone know if the sunroof was a factory option?

nope, the roof is an owner applied deal. None of them came from Nissan with the hole in the roof. Nice car btw.

Thanks, I cannot wait to start working on it. I don't like the sunroof anyway. I am not planning on completely restoring the body for a couple of years (lack of $) at which stage I will fill it in. Until then, I am investigating the cost of a glass panel.

Beautiful car. The sunroof is the only eyesore. It looks like someone laid a floor mat across the top. Still quite a nice car you have there.

I think the sunroof looks delux mate! Looks old school VW, or BMW. Looks alot better than the U.S. Plexi-popup crap. Leave it in, and enjoy.

Very,very late response but who knows Gav240z is still around ?
My 240Z is a 1972 french model , I bought it in 1990 and totally refurbished it ( from bare metal body shell) The original dashboard was perfect ,no cracks. It start developing cracks in 1995/6 . At that time I was working in the Middle East (Bahrain) and ordered in 1997 a new dashboard (was available ) through the local NISSAN importer. The one you see on the picture is that one fitted ion the car in 1998. Picture is dated 2001. Today in 2025 it is still perfect with no cracks. I have kept the original one and look from time to time to the different way of repairing cracks but until now none of them convince me.

Probably no different than using Photoshop on a regular image.. that's why it's so important to see a car in person before you buy it. ;)
