4x114???

Featured Replies

4 studs and a 114mm distance between the centers of the studs (space between them across the center of the rotational axis)

Technically it is 4 X 114.3mm, otherwise known as 4 X 4 1/2". And NO, you can't file out Mustang wheels (4 X 4 1/4") or Honda/Miata/Old BMW/old Volvo?) and everything else wheels (4 X 100mm) to fit.

These wheels are lookalike Watanabe's. Are they the same 114.3mm? The website dosent say, but they come in 13" to 14" sizes. Anybody know? Thanks

The term for the measurement diagonally between studs (on 4 stud, on 5 stud it's from 1 stud to the centre point between the two diagonally opposite studs) is the PCD or Pitch Circle Diamater.

Thus 114 or more accurately 114.3 is the mm distance between the centre point of the diagonally opposite studs.

Like so; where 'x' would be 114.3
