Modified 240Z pics

Featured Replies

Hello everyone, I wanted to share some pics of my '71 240Z. It's running a 327 V8/5 speed. I know purists won't like it much but my plans went in a different direction:

Not too keen on the side mirrors but otherwise a fantastic looking package.

More info on the scoop???

You are my hero!

You and Auxilary.

Why wasn't black a standard colour on the 240z. THey look so good black.

My engine weighs 35 lbs more than an L6, not much but I moved the battery to the back to offset the difference. In short, the handling characteristics feel no different than my old inliner.

VERY VERY VERY NICE  I love the hood. It has a real corvette 454 stingray look. Good flow of bodylines Touch of fairlady touch of corvette but all within the same timeline. Thank you for your great taste and love for the Z.

So few Z cars get so lucky.

heya nice car, gotta any pics of the scoop in progress, did you just sit down and draw it up, based on a stingray, or what?

thanks, just interested

Nice car. Are the side mirrors that you have on your Zed the sebring style? I love the flares. What width wheels are you running front and back? Take care and don't do too many burn outs.ROFL
