Seat covers and Foam source. Interior Innovations vs Resurrected Classics vs MSA

Featured Replies

Hello All,

It has been a long time since I frequented this chat, its nice to be back, I am rebuilding my 15 year dormant, 48k, 73 240z in preparation for a 5k+ road trip this summer.

I need to rebuild the seats (amongst many other things) Currently, I am considering the following

Resurrected Classics PVC seat covers and their molded foam

Interior Innovations Leather seat covers and their molded foam

Motorsport Auto
Leather Seat Covers (Foam not available yet)

Does anyone have experience, positive, or otherwise, on these products? Is there another product I should consider over these?

Thank you

If and when I recover my seats, I will use leather. I have the Interior Innovations leather interior trim kit and I like it...

I rebuilt my seats back in 2018 and did the leather from Interior Innovations, very happy with the results. I bought the foam from MSA. I did swap my series 1 seats for some I got out of a '77 Z. This was to get the seat back articulation for full forward and back tipping along with the base seat springs rather than the straps. Here's what I posted about doing it.

Back around around 2005, I visited Les Cannaday's shop in Vista, California, and purchased a pair of Interior Innovation seat covers and carpet. If I recall the stuff he had on hand was unused inventory from the Vintage Z Car program.

They survived over a decade in storage and couple of household moves before being used.
