A Classic Z Christmas Rhyme

’Twas Christmas with the Classic Z Car Club,
Snow dusted chrome with a soft silver rub.
In garages warm, where legends still thrive,
Sleek Datsun 240Zs waited—ready to drive.

Stockings were stuffed with parts wrapped just right,
Carbs polished bright in the glow of the light.
Headers and gaskets, bushings galore,
A new set of coils by the workshop door.

Under the tree sat a manifold gleam,
Suspension bits like a tuner’s sweet dream.
Fresh rubber tires, bearings snug and true,
Each gift a promise of roads yet to do.

Keys jingled happy, engines turned over,
Straight-sixes sang as the night grew colder.
Joyous rides followed, crisp air and cheer,
Tail lights like stars disappearing rear.

So here’s to the season, the parts, and the drive,
To friendships that keep the Z spirit alive.
