Strut insulator

just wonder if anyone has seen this cup in insulators before. Left is off of front struts right is off rear struts. The rears had spanish manufactor struts which I have never heard of

The insulator on the left is either damaged or modified. It should look like the one on the right and the front insulators have a bearing between the insulator and the top perch (in stock form) so turning can happen without friction on the insulator.

I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with either of the insulators. The one on the right came from the rear of the car and the plastic spacer is stuck inside it. The one one the left came from the front and is empty inside because the pivot bearing stayed with the top of the strut.

That's my take...

The rubber on the one on the left also appears to really brittle. The right one might be that way too but the left has lost a lot of the rubber rim
