Here's a nice little distributor wrench I found on kijiji, would be great for the onboard tool kit.

    I have this one by Craftsman and I like it. Makes adjusting the distributor easy.

    Mine.  Not kidding, Craftsman fits the Phillips head perfectly.  Somehow other brands just don't get the fit and grab right.

    You're lucky, I don't think I have ever seen a distributor bolt/screw where the Philips socket wasn't destroyed.
