swflaz Posted November 5, 2018 Share #1 Posted November 5, 2018 I'm having trouble with re hooking up the linkage to my door locks and inside/outside door handle pulls. Any advice?

grannyknot Posted November 5, 2018 Share #3 Posted November 5, 2018 You gotta give us more than that man, is the door being reassembled after restoration, did it break? Can you post some pics of the linkage you are working on? There are little S bends at the ends of many of the linkage rods that can be difficult take apart or reassemble without the glass removed. Need pics.
swflaz Posted November 5, 2018 Author Share #4 Posted November 5, 2018 I can post pics tomorrow but you are not going to see much. The door is in perfect shape with the glass installed. The S bends at the end of linkage rods that are " difficult to assemble without glass removed" are my problem. Sounds like I may have to remove the glass first. As you know there is not much room to work in that area.
26th-Z Posted November 5, 2018 Share #5 Posted November 5, 2018 Roll the window up so that you have room to work on the handle.
swflaz Posted November 6, 2018 Author Share #6 Posted November 6, 2018 Thanks, 26th Z. I got the door locks back in today. It would be great to stop by and visit her majesty some day. We're not that far away.
