Back from the body shop!!! New Paint

Featured Replies

Well after more than four months of body and paint I finally got my Z back today. It looks amazing. I went with a multicoat (5 total) single stage paint. This paint would put a Porsche to shame. I am so happy with the way it turned out. Check out the photos on my website. They really dont do it justice. I am going to take the next year to reassemble and hopefully have it ready for the Z car nationals in Orange County next year.

Enjoy.

Nice Job, Nice Color, Excellent Shine, Looks Flawless.

Now you're in deep trouble.:o

You'll have to make sure that everything you do from here on out fits in with this paint job!:D

Keep the pictures coming......

The paint job looks fantastic, and the colour appears to come through very bright. Cant wait to see the fully assembled photos.

Good luck with the build.

Its Factory orange paint code 918 from 1970. Hard to tell from the photos. All body and paint was $6500. See website for detail of work perfomed.

You have a beautiful car there. Whenever I decide that I can go a day (let alone 4 + months) without driving mine, I might do the same.

Congrats my friend, I'm sure that it will come out brilliant!!! The colour is not what I'd pick, but DAMN, that is nice!!!

I'm about to begin my own Zresto (from metal, like yourself!), so wish me luck!:classic: Any tips?LOL

Cheers ppl!!!
